I don’t think modding a PS3 is worth it tbh. You can mostly buy the games on newer consoles unlike Nintendo..

Well, it’s got a lot of comfortable PS2 emulators, and a lot of indies haven’t been rereleased since the PS3 era (not that you’d be a big enough dick to pirate an indie game). I think it’s worth the risk, but I’m not taking!

Emulation would be better in my opinion!

Emulation is quite miserable when you have the original resolution on a modern computer, and you ain’t getting the full experience unless you play like an OG.

I still like to emulate my games personally!

I’d rather emulate an old Nintendo game on an older console than a modern PC. I think PS3 is the best way to play PS2 games. (the unpopular opinions topic died, dammit!)
