Be realistic: almost nobody buys Vegas, Photoshop or a Windows license. Not everybody has got hundreds of euros to spend right away.

Because police is totally going from home to home, breaking into and checking every PC :P
Only way I saw them discovering pirates is when pirates are selling burned DVD's with software and games on street.

You guys have the point, i might download Vegas as i'm stuck with the shitty wmv format in movie maker, it totally lowers the contrast and makes the vids look bad.
EDIT: What the fuck i just tried to download vegas from torrent and it contained a virus. -.-" Good thing i deleted it.

Exactly. Plus cracking those programs is usually safe and without virus if it is from trusted uploader on pirate bay.

@Rayrobi My Vegas was virusless. It contained a patch to do the crack.

Go on Pirate Bay, type Sony Vegas, click on seeds to see which torrent has most seeds, download it it has no virus

I think companies don't ever bother looking for "pirate in his chamber". As someone said it before, they start seeking you if you sell their softwares but let's be realistic: only companies and national education (schools, college etc) interest them. Because they buy hundreds of licences. This surely repay the bad behavior of individual customers ;)
I'm not saying "go and crack everything" though! :P

Topic-related: is the Jaguar version of Rayman 1 very different of the PC version? If so, I may take a look at it :)

Sadly sound is bad due to Emulator not being perfect. You can see Haruka's Walkthrough and hear sound. It is still not that bad that it is unplayable.

After multiple tries it seems i've gotten Vegas to install, but i've got a few viruses downloaded, good thing WinDefender caught them.
The version i'm installing also contained a virus, but it installed having the virus removed by Defender.
EDIT: Fuck this, it requires many of my information.

If you have 32bit PC get this: http://thepiratebay.sx/torrent/7245539/ ... and_Keygen_
If you have 64bit PC get this: http://thepiratebay.sx/torrent/7674670/ ... _[ChingLiu]

Confirmed by trusted piratebay users. It is not virus at all.

Fuck this, WinDefender still identifies that as a potentially harmful software. It's something like HackTool:Win32/Keygen. Also, it just removed the patch and the keygen.
The one i downloaded requested me to register ( it's a precracked one ), shall i just register?

That is a fake alarm. Plus WinDefender is bad. Avast is better it never reports me fake stuff.

Thanks for letting me know. Maybe it marks it as harmful to prevent me from patching programs or what? ( refer to my above post for some plus info )

It could be. They are saying it is harmful to pervent you from pirating it. If I were you, I would swich to Avast. And trust me, many people patched Vegas and no Virus at all. Haruka can confirm it.

OK now, there are still 2 things:
1. I have downloaded a precracked vegas 8, in the instructions they wrote i only need to launch it and register, and that's it. Shall i just do that?

2. If i only use it for what i would use windows movie maker 2012 ( which now doesn't work for some odd reason ), then it is no problem right? ( By that i mean i don't use an image watermark, so i can say i could also edit videos with WMM the same way? ) I can edit my vids with movie maker 2012, but until it doesn't work, i would use Vegas as an alternative, so that it would still remain like it has been done legally.

1. Yeah, do it. Register it.
2. There should not be problem.

Okay then, i guess i'll just create another email for this though, i don't want Sony to recognize my email. :bad:
EDIT: [email protected] is an existing email address? WTF?

That's the catch of using pirated software: if you suddenly break through with something you create or start selling it on your own volition and then it's discovered you've been using pirated software, you're in deep trouble.
It's basically why I've stopped doing so a few years back. If I can't afford the real product, I'll scour for free trials and/or alternatives. I feel more comfortable doing so, too.

Lol of course Jesus has e-mail! Do you know how much more convenient it is to sort your incoming prayers in an inbox instead of in your head?
