Rayman Pirate-Community

I had a black PS3 160GB (no idea if slim or not) before. I know that it can't play PS2 games but PS1. I really want a console that plays PS1. PS2 and PS3 games. But I heard that the 60GB modell has YLOD issues and I fear that if I buy one it could fail within days D:

My old Ps3 got a yellow light of death and it was the first model, though it may be because I got it used. I reccomend getting a slim, then buy a ps2 and ps1.

The Playstation 2 can already play play PS1 games, so why wasting more money?

I, myself, do plan on getting a PS3 somewhere down the line, but I certainly will not give up my PS2, which has lasted me more than 10 years.

How about the PS3 Super Slim 500GB? Is the Danger of YLOD higher then the Slim?

I'm not sure, to be honest.

It isn't that, people mostly complain about the shell of the Super Slim PS3 and the way you need to open the disc reader but I must admit that the packs available in the market of it are with tempting prices now.

I really like my Slim version though and its mate shell.

I went to a flea market today, and I found only this version of Rayman 2:

Nothing really special, but it was in good condition and cost only 2€. That's why I bought it.

I collect Rayman stuff and games, mostly Rayman but oldschool gaming stuff is great as well, it's a nice thing to have.

Well, I guess I can add myself to the list now, just won Rayman Origins (PS3) with the Lithograph on the 'bay. If I enjoy this one I'll also dip my toes in the Saturn version of the original Rayman, the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2 and also some of the GBA releases.
