I needed some time to read your posts in pig latin
I know there's a translator for it, but is there one to translate pig latin to normal text?

I don't think there is a bijection between English and pig latin but it would probably work in most cases nonetheless.

Yeah I didn’t really like the retconning of several notable characters (including betikla and the magician!) to teensies!

They had this obsession with making EVERYONE Teensies, for some reason. There was even a scrapped Mr Dark Teensie.

I think me any many others were aware, but mr dark’s cancelled design did resemble a teensy

I believe that that mr dark wasn’t actually the real guy, rather a follower of him, that’s why they thought it’d be more appropriate to have the magician teensy

Definitely. Teensies are fine, but there is room for more than just one species in Rayman's world.

I still don't get why they felt the need to create a fanboy of Mr Dark for the new villain... Like, if you're going to do that, then why not just, I don't know... BRING BACK MR DARK DIRECTLY INSTEAD!? Why did they even wait for an *update* in Rayman Mini to do that nearly 10 years later?
Wouldn't have prevented Ales to exist and to be his minion as he should be. And preferably, he wouldn't have been a retcon on an already existing character this time.
I mean, just think how COOL this would have been!
And yeah it's true that these games had a weird obsession for turning everyone into a Teensy or to give them limbs when they didn't before as a nonsensical attempt to replace Rayman's species introduced in Rayman 1. Like, you could still have had both coexist at the same time and I don't think anyone would have complained!

As for the nymphs' design, I think this is too daring for a game mainly intended for kids and it doesn't match the original Betilla at all. Though, these are not bad designs and I wouldn't have minded seeing them in another universe where they could have felt more appropriate I suppose.

Exactly my thoughts! This is another reason why I think the old team just wasn’t well-versed in the old games. Why always default to Teensies? And there could have been a more creative way to maintain the Magician’s old design without him being a rayperson

I agree with Miss Silver and Saturn, I mean it would have been really cool for Mr Dark to show up in Origins

Humans in Rayman is something I just cannot get behind. I know they tried it with Barbara, but I firmly believe a dream world should have whimsical creatures in it
