WTF is globox doing?
It appears Rayman was hitting that fat plant to get some yellow lums. Globox leaps forward while doing fighting moves and hits Rayman, throwing him back. I think the spinning around on the ground is a combat move that happens when you land after jumping, while fighting.
I don't think so.
we saw rayman doing this kind of thing earlier.
you know when all his body Parts where sponning around his body like moons on a planet (lol stupid explanation)
Was this in a video or something? Can you post a link?
I don't have the link but it was in a comic-con gameplay video and there aren't that many of them (it was on YouTube)
Okay, I'll go look on YouTube then. I've searched for 'Rayman Origins comic-con gameplay' - the video will probably be on the search results list.

I haven't found anything... there are only 2 comic-con videos and I haven't seen Rayman doing the spinning move in them.

I would like it, but it doesn't have anything to do with the story. They were created by the pirates.

Or maybe, they were an ancient, peaceful race, who were at some point captured, put into metal husks and forced to walk around, guarding the Pirates' structures with TNT strapped around their noses... just saying, it might be a possibility. :P

It'd be nice but for a 2D platform it wouldn't be as exciting as it would be in 3D.

That's true. And Shroobland no. Hey has anyone noticed that the GBA version of R3 is basically Rayman 2 2D? Because if you think about it, the only connections I can make between home consoles R3 and GBA R3 is that Globox swallows a black lum. The rest is about Razorbeard and the pirates. This is completely unrelated to R3! XD.

I posted a screenshot of Rayman doing the spin attack some posts back. You can search through my posts and find it or wait for me to wake up and repost the image...

Nah, that's not what they're talking about. That's barely a spin, let alone a spin attack.

BTW, the language you guys are looking for is called Afrikaans.

Thank you! That was posted like 50 pages ago - I wouldn't have found it on my own.
iambored2006 wrote:About the new attack, you can see it at 3:50 in this video- http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-20 ... ins/715328

Here's the picture-

Image
Rayman's body is an axis and his hands, feet and head are flinging around it, causing damage to everyone near him. Notice the red aura surrounding his body.
BTW, I know this is old, but did anyone else notice the spin attack Rayman is performing on a livingstone in the second trailer? It's just like Mario's spin attack!
I also just thought of something- The boss fight with the huge pink monster from the first trailer is very much like the last battle with Reflux. I.E. the boss summons minions to fight Rayman and Globox and they have to kill the creatures in order to harm the boss.
Ok, I've seen the video and first of all I found another instance of Rayman's spinning attack at 1:35. And you can see the 'fat plant' I was talking about at 2:28.
Now, Rayman does the move in EXACTLY the same way Globox does: Rayman leaps in the air while swinging his fists and kicking with his feet. So the player would press jump - fire - fire - fire - etc. And when the character lands and they're still pressing fire, they do a spin.

You're welcome! Yes, I do like the drawing. It's way better than what I came up with.

I've looked up what you said, Real Rayman, and took some screenshots. I'm trying for over half an hour now to upload them, but every site is crashing on me. I'll upload them when I have time to deal with stupid file sharing websites.
