Think of a post every time you take a step, and have a submit button on the soles. Then use some totally real brain-to-computer interface to submit posts with every step.

This would work if you could really think that fast of what to say, like 2 times per second.

My gosh, i remember the first RD i would just keep checking the post count thinking I'm a natural winner i have to win. Now these days i don't bother checking, i don't need that to mess with my head.

More fun when you're just trying to post than it is trying to be competitive.

We're all over, I'd suggest keeping the forum indexes on a separate tab to see what's going on.

That's the spirit! But do remember that the indices give you a good overview of currently active threads every once in a while.

I normally refresh the page, I found that more useful than having different tabs.

I'm more inefficent, I've just got the one tab open and I pop back and forth between threads and the index.

i never thought i would hear the sentence "competitive posting", and now that i have, i find it quite hilarious

I gotta say there was more spam in previous years. Now everything feels more natural...

Sometimes if I'm going to respond to something and realise I'm the last poster, I just write it, then have another tab, then go back to it later, copy the message and refresh, then if I'm not the latest poster, past it back and press submit.

EDIT: I'm only keeping like 2 tabs though.

Record Day is something else...it changes people. Of course it was a lot worse back in my day, when we had things like the BONK thread. RDs are a lot more chill these days

i would had truly loved to have "Bonked" people, at least thats what i think that thread was for, bonking people.. kinda wish i was in the crazy era of pirate community the lore must have been insane
