In one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Captain Barbossa officiates the marriage between two of the hero characters. It's kind of funny because far from being a humble priest, Barbossa is a villain and cursed into being this sort of chthonic sea monster. They're pretty fun movies if you get the chance to watch them!

Davy Jones is the chthonic sea monster. Barbossa is just a villain / anti-hero. He did spend some time being undead under the curse of the Aztec gold, though! I would imagine not, we have articles on the various iterations of Rayman 4 in the Wiki if you're curious, and as far as I've read, there's nothing on that.
