I'm pretty sure they're electoons, you can see their eyes and feet slightly.

I see a couple of dark pixels which just might be pupils. I don't see any whites in those eyes. I don't see any mouths or blonde hair. I see blue smudges that look vaguely like they might be shoes.

I've always assumed that it was a left over from the beta, where Rayman actually collected Electoons instead of tings. They just forgot to change the animation when he hands them over

This picture ^^^ makes me feel sad. Rayman is pixalated and there is no HD remake of Rayman 1 .

Definitely Electoons.

If you zoom you can actually see they have blonde hair.So yeah electoons.

Wierd how I never noticed this. It could be possible that Electoons were used at a point to unlock the Magician's challenges instead of Tings.

Weird thing is I knew from the beginning that these were electoons. What else in that game is a pink ball?

Electoon was also in beta Jaguar on map.

Those are definitely Electoons, the thought had never even crossed my mind that they weren't.

Yes, but there are ways to make Rayman look decent on an HD screen, and, besides, HD remakes aren't always good.

You could also try releasing an activation-free version of your patch on Steam. It might not work, but it's worth a try.

That is actually good theory. Also Rayman 1 was supposed to be CO-OP on SNES so there is maybe a connection with that as well.

One way to improve the graphics of Rayman 1 is to use Rayman Mega Patch.

Release a activation-free version on Steam? Are you crazy?! First I am just a private person! I donot belong to a company or rule a company. Second, I would dammage GOG and Ubisoft because GoG is still making money of Rayman and Ubisoft is gonna resale it on Rayman Collection soon ! No way! I won't go that far.


And to Haruka I think he meaned that HD remakes have too much bugs / glitches and errors!
