My sincere apologies to this, I wasn't under the realisation of the above guidelines. It's entirely my fault since I should have checked your DeviantART, which is the most logical place to find your policy (which I just did). I also see that you're a bit more serious in regards to artwork than I originally thought, so I apologize again if I've acted a bit too quirky/disrespectful/commanding towards you. I'm just always excited to see the result, since you're the first person I've ever spent time with who can produce professional-quality work (at least, that's what it appears to me as).
Since I now know you're doing commissions, I actually feel quite bad for asking you to do these artworks for free, since that's basically abusing your friendship, not to mention the fact that I didn't even read your policy at first. I will definitely pay/commission you for any additional artworks you do, as well as for those you've already done (the Final Act one and this one) once I get the money; not to gain your approval, but because you do deserve it. I'll probably drop in a tip as well.
If you are still willing to work with textures, then that would probably make my week. In the future, I probably will also give you a euro or two per texture. It's the least I can do to show my gratitude for all the work you've done/hopefully will do for ROTD.
Do you mind if, next time I commission you, I can edit said picture if I show you first?
Also, I'll just stick this here since we're on a new page:

It's all cool now. I'm glad you realize now how protective I am of my works; you're a good friend. Perhaps I should have told you about my policy first.

That would actually be really nice! Something really funky is going on with my bank and employer and I still haven't had my wage since two months. It's being looked into though.
As for these two, don't worry, you can have them for free this time.

Really, I enjoy making textures for you! They don't need to be paid for. Just put my name in the credits or something.
Yes, you can, since you'd be partially the owner of said artwork. And yes, it would also be nice if you show them to me first.

Thanks for your understanding in return! The bold text made me smile like a dork.

Yikes, no wage in two months? Wait till it all comes flowing in to catch up after the dam is angehoben. And thank you again for the freebies.

Brilliant! Were there any texture(s) you were working on at the moment? I can't remember off the top of my head (I should write these things down).

I shall file that information away for future use.

There was the sanded wood texture and the vines I still had to make for you. I'm working on that sanded wood texture.

Ah goodie. The only other one I have on my mind at the moment is one for the cage, which I'll send you the template for after you finish these two. The vines aught to be fun, eh?

I will send the wood and vines texture together.
Just one question regarding the vines: should they bear resemblance to the thick vines from Rayman 2?

Vines? What do you mean? Vines pending in trees so you can swing,or just vines in the wall so you can climb? or both? Of they are to climb,I hope they are a remake from those from R2.I'd love to see resemblances and returning things from R2

Rayfan I've sent you the plot of Gemstone Temple for my book. I want you to tell me anything I could add or improve on.
EDIT: Nevermind. I just finished the chapter.

As usual, I'm listening to the music as I write this.
The first one was spooky and more like ambient, until more instruments (such as guitar) kicked in. Then it became a little more prominent.
The Frame Game was cool and reminded me a lot of something, though I cannot place just what. Probably it was one of your previous tracks and that has been filed away somewhere in my mind, which means it stuck, so good job with that!
The Warzone Damned track is very dark and dramatic. I like it.
The Bridge and the General sounds very creepy and well-fitted for a bad guy. I'm assuming this 'General' is such bad guy.
Above all, I'd like to note that your tracks have lost their repetitiveness, while retaining a recurring theme. I like that a lot.
Great work and keep it up!
EDIT: Actually, the last track has some nice improv moments and 'flails' in for example the piano that I really enjoyed listening to.

They are planned to resemble Rayman 2. I'll even be turning it into a 3d model: generating geometry by calculating the vines texture's transparency, rounding the edges (so they don't look square in a 3D perspective), and then putting the texture directly and seamlessly on top again.

Thanks! It's always a great joy to hear your per-son feedback, for a similar reason I gave Rayfist on YouTube: because it helps me see through the viewer's eyes.

Ah good, that's actually something I was concerned about!

Alright, I'm giving them a read. I'll reply to your PM once I get home (since I can't reply to PMs on my phone for some reason).

Well, I meant those little jitters up and down the keyboard for example, like quick 16th notes that just buzz through, to give the music an extra kick without disturbing the melody too much. They give it a nice effect.
Ah, now I've had a second listen, the first part does remind me of that, yes. The melody's the same.
However, that's not what I meant. It's the glockenspiel things that come through just after the start, and now I know what they sound like: the Spellbound Forest from Rayman M, right?
EDIT:
Noticed the RayTunes has no version of the Spellbound forest on it. Sure, it has the intro, but not the actual music. I have decided to rectify this.

What do you mean? Spellbound Forest is a full track there...

The frick? I only get the first one and a half second or so. I think this is report-a-bug time!
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
This part is basically done. the top and bottom are tileable, but making the "end parts" will be a bit more difficult.

Of course. I've pointed out multiple times that Spellbound Forest was my main inspiration of the theme.

It's gorgeous! What exactly do you mean by "end parts?"

Well, see how the ends of the tile cut off? I think she means to say she wants to create some parts to go onto that so you can get a nice endpiece at the end of your vine.
By the way, Spanex, from what scene in the game is that a picture of? I don't recognise any climable pillars like that...
