Thanks guys! It's not like we can fully trust journalists when it comes to names anyway.
I find it unclear whether those are levels or worlds, what do you guys think?Gamespot wrote:There are several worlds to play through before you get to experience the dark side of the game, though, with each level unlocking a new ability. These include Jibberish Jungle, where you unlock the ability to punch; the Desert of Didgeridoos, where you gain the ability to float; the Gourmand Lands, where you can shrink yourself down to access hidden areas; the Sea of Serendipity, where you learn to swim; and Mystic Peak, where you gain the ability to run up walls. Each ability is used in unique ways, sometimes to solve simple puzzles or to perform daring feats of platforming agility.
I think that: Those anmes are worlds. Each time you finish a world with every skull coins, then you can chase a chest and when you reach him, you'll free a fairy (presumably always Betilla) and then she will give you a new power. But I wonder if it'll be like in Rayman 1 when she took you to a simple plain level with a thing you'll have to pass using your new power...Hunchman801 wrote:I find it unclear whether those are levels or worlds, what do you guys think?Gamespot wrote:There are several worlds to play through before you get to experience the dark side of the game, though, with each level unlocking a new ability. I agree with you, friend, but note that fairies aren't chased in chests but Darktoons, so you don't need to get all the Medallions, just finish the world probably, while the chests are after the Skull Medallions.TeensieKing wrote:I think that: Those anmes are worlds. Each time you finish a world with every skull coins, then you can chase a chest and when you reach him, you'll free a fairy (presumably always Betilla) and then she will give you a new power. But I wonder if it'll be like in Rayman 1 when she took you to a simple plain level with a thing you'll have to pass using your new power...
That's probably the case:TeensieKing wrote:I think that: Those anmes are worlds.
By the way, where does it say that 'Catch Me If You Can' is a music/desert level? I haven't had time to read all the articles thoroughly.Gamespot wrote:Trickier still was a level called Don't Burn Dinner, which was set within the Gourmand Lands, featuring deadly knife-throwing chefs and an abundance of cocktail wieners.
Desert is music so no it isn't original -_-TeensieKing wrote:I think the worlds are too much like Rayman 1.They have almost the same themes: Forest,Food,Mountains and Picture were already in the first game but food was in a different style, remaining only the desert world as the only original world

Mhm, I have a small theory related to this.Mr. Dark Thingamajig wrote:they have changed polokus really a lot

@Hunch, I also think it isn't clear. Both are highly possible. I would love them to be the names of the worlds, but I'm afraid it's more possible that they are levels.TeensieKing wrote:I think that: Those anmes are worlds. I think the Land of the Livid Dead stuff is just a mistake.spiraldoor wrote:The new article seems to refer to the final level (which was previously called the Land of the Dead) as the Land of the Livid Dead. Maybe that’s why Globox was expecting a scary place filled with terrifying monsters in Rayman 3. Or perhaps the person who wrote up the article made a mistake.
Mr Dark is visible in one of the bubbles in the trailer. He’s a smiling, grey-haired Teensy wearing a dark blue cloak.
The dragon-belly levels could be located in the mountain world, or maybe even the food world.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.iambored2006 wrote:And the lava/hot sauce looks exactly like the lava in the boss battle with Skops.Paradigm wrote:Gosh, this game looks f**king incredible.
On the ice level, I love those forks with faces. Just like the spoons and forks in Candy Chateau!![]()
Also, I think the infernal kitchen is partly inspired by some of the Cave of Skops levels - the backgrounds, lava and textures are all very similar.
Are you serious? It's nothing like RRR!stan423321 wrote:
Well well well, this is more and more mixed to me. The trailer looked more like Rabbids game, honestly, with the shock yelling.

WHEN DID THE RABBIDS FART?! I DEMAND TO KNOW!!!!! BTW, WB humour isn't much better. RO is different. It's not actually humour, I mean it's not funny. The only time I laughed when I saw RO stuff was when Rayman blew air up Betilla's skirt.sergiomonty wrote:Rabbids are more into toilet humor, with their burps, plungers, farts and spittings. Rayman Origins' humor is more related to Hanna Barbera, or Warner bros, with tons of graphic humor, funny expresions, smacks and slaps.
Both are the same Teensy actually.sergiomonty wrote:Oh no, not again. Just because a character wears dark clothes doesn't mean it's mr dark!!! first the teensy with the top hat, and now the intellectual-like teensy? guys, just face it, mr dark doesn't even appear to have any relation to the main story.
