Re: What games are you currently playing?
Oh, I just can't resist.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Tssk. Bit too cliche. Try again.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Hating on Microsoft is far more cliche, mate.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
But a very logical thing to do.Tobbe wrote:Hating on Microsoft is far more cliche, mate.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Why? Did they hurt you in some way?
Re: What games are you currently playing?
This is a game I never managed to complete 100%. I simply can't get gold in the last three cups of 150cc. I tried too many times but no avail. I also dislike how the drifts work in the game, incredibly hard to make.abhinav wrote:Been playing Mario Kart: Double Dash (...) (got a new one).
Re: What games are you currently playing?
As in every kart game like this, all you need is to practice.Haruka wrote:I also dislike how the drifts work in the game, incredibly hard to make.
The kart game that I practised a lot is Crash Team Racing, but the boost gaven by a successful drift is easier to obtain. I've always found it too tricky in Mario Kart, or not quite intuitive.

With practice you'll get the hang of it, I'm sure.
Took me a bit, even, but I love the game.

I've been playing Ni No Kuni for about 2 weeks now and I think I may or may not have fallen in love with it... *_*
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Do you play it with English or Japanese voices? Game is Dual Language. Thats what I like about Japanese games that get released in WestCairnie wrote:I've been playing Ni No Kuni for about 2 weeks now and I think I may or may not have fallen in love with it... *_*

Re: What games are you currently playing?
English because most of the actors in the English dub were from all sorts of British TV shows, not to mention Mr Drippy's voice is just the greatest - tidy!
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Well, you are British so it does make sense to use English voices. I myself would always choose Japanese voices with English subs combination, like I always do for Anime styled games. I do know some people who swich between dubs to check both of them as well.

What's the basic concept of that game?Cairnie wrote:I've been playing Ni No Kuni for about 2 weeks now and I think I may or may not have fallen in love with it... *_*
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Ni No Kuni graphic design is Ghibli's creation and music is by Joe Hisaishi! That make it an obligation to buy it. I'm sad I don't own a PS3 myself!Hoodcom wrote:What's the basic concept of that game?Cairnie wrote:I've been playing Ni No Kuni for about 2 weeks now and I think I may or may not have fallen in love with it... *_*
Talking about games, I've been playing Serious Sam HD because college was pretty sick recently and I needed to let of steam somehow
I'm also playing Star War The Old Republic a lot recently (purchased a subscription as well). It's my first MMORPG, it may not be the best according to MMORPG's players but dude, you have a fucking lightsaber!
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I am playing Ganbare Goemon.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Gonna re-play Slender The Arrival in Hardcore mode...it changes the ending.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Mario Kart Wii is in terms of car selection, controls, speed, music, characters, and feature (Feature as in two players in DD, flying in 7, and bikes in Wii) the best game in the series. For me at least. Also love almost every single track they added. The only let down was the retro stages.
So hyped for 8, maybe even more then Smash Bros. I remember back when MKWii came out how big the online community was with clans, record sharing, friend lists etc. I had so much fun with joining groups and setting new records. I hope the new console game can bring that community back.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
This game got fucked up by patch 1.3. Sad...the PVP mode is not as impressive as it should be for a MMORPG.Raylex wrote:I'm also playing Star War The Old Republic a lot recently (purchased a subscription as well). However the PVE mode is crazy as hell : It's like playing 8 slightly shorter versions of KOTOR (as there are 8 different stories, each one for one class of player...). THis is not a bad MMORPG to start with. Guildwars 2 is good also.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Hardly. I would like to remind you that aside from Apple, Sony is basically the biggest cashwhore around, what with all their unnecessarily exclusive exclusives and whatnot. Sony is a far more scandalous company than you might think at first.Keane wrote:But a very logical thing to do.Tobbe wrote:Hating on Microsoft is far more cliche, mate.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
But at least Sony understands the need for Region Free and they understand that some people don't have money to afford new games.
