I'm like Hunch, when I sleep, I tend to hear nothing on my phone no matter how loud the buzzing is my phone (or its alarms/ringtones) are. Not so great when I'm trying to wake up early. Ironically I never seem to need the alarm since I almost always seem to get up shortly before important events.

Nuts, one of those weird instances where I edit my post and then it makes less sense than it did earlier.

I don't like leaving my phone on silent unless necessary. The pings/ringtones/buzzing from messages and such don't bother me anyway. What does bother me, is that the same buzzing/ringtones never succeed in waking me up in the morning when I use them for that purpose.

My latest phone, Android as it is, can't be configured with the combinaison of ringtone/vibration I seek, therefore it remains on vibrate all the time (except at night, as we discussed)

In every version of Android OS I had, you could put one single alert for every app. I put a really sober, really quick sound effect from the Megaman X game.

For some reason with the distribution that is on my current phone, doing this is inconsistent and some applications will retain their original alert, some of which are always too loud and too long (looking at you, ESPN Fantasy).

I've tried to change it for half a day before deciding to give up and the workaround is to set the phone on vibrate forever.

Right now I’m thinking about what legal name to go by.

I have 3 options, Jennika, Susie and Barbara.

I perfer to go by a more “feminine” name legally, it just fits my gender identity more tbh. But what do yall think is the best legal name? Which one fits the best for me?

Ah, that really does bite when it doesn't actually work the way you want it to.

Hopefully I forgot the right setting to make Discord stay silent on reactions in my DMs. That was the only thing wrong I noticed to happen overnight on me.

I haven't exactly tried to customize the sounds like you have.

I like Jennika personally, it suits you and it’s what I’ve known you as. Can’t really imagine any of the others would fit you. Anyway hope this name change goes well!

Thanks! He's there because I uh, technically run the largest Rayman themed website on Neocities... I have the most views, about 50K. Yes it is impressive lol.
