Hold your horses, purple water? Do you mean like in here? That water's not purple. If not, which area are you referring to?

No you dumbass, the area following it... but apparently the water is green in the PC version. I remember it being purple like in the N64 for some reason.

Oh, the ledge scene. Yeah, that was a bit more toned down, indeed. Maybe the Pirates were running out of ammo to hinder him with? But face it, if you were them, wouldn't you just have flown ahead, blow up the bridge, blow up the bridge behind Ray and then slowly started to blow up all segments inbetween those two ends? That would have easily solved your problem instantly.

After playing Rayman 3 I went back to Rayman 2 for some Lums. Got some of the Lums that I kept missing before. The one I needed in the Bayou was sneaky. It was the one where you have to go on the Log.

There was one particularly sneaky Super Lum in Beneath The Sanctuary, Phase 1, located behind the large pillar at the end of the first level.

Jump on the log and then Rayman will bounce.

You mean the pillar you use to bounce your Magic Fist off so you can progress by breaking one of those cork door things? Ah yes, I remember finding that when I was younger and going "Ooooooh, you!"
I find this level has some very well-hidden Lums; there's also two on a climable grate as you exit one of the last doors in the level, in the room where there's wall traps that try to push you into the lava. They're particularly hard to spot if you don't look around well enough. I also liked the new placements of Lums in Revolution in this level, what with all the secret ledges and all that.

I'd got it already.

Then there is a lum floating in the air. Use the logs to make Rayman bounce then activate the helicopter power. You will also see a platform under you.

Why did they balls up the 1000th Lum in Rayman 3D? I mean, sure, the game was rushed and effortless, but did they at least not learn from this mistake after all those ports?

I don't understand why everyone freaks out about the 3DS version being bad when it had absolutely no flaws except the 1000th lum.

I encountered 1 or 2 odd glitches, other than that no problems I guess

I don't really see why you would want the 1000th Lum anyways. Except for the satisfaction of having 100% next to your game, there's no other rewards. There's not even an alternate ending, what with all the power restored to the world and all, I would have guessed the fairies and other magic folk would be able to completely beat the living daylights out of them Pirates.

The satisfaction of 100% completion outweighs any desire I have for an alternative ending.

Correction: (...) it had absolutely no flaws except the missing Globox Village, Glob Crystals, the 1000th glitch, unexplainable upside down textures (go to the Prison Ship and you'll see what I mean) and too much loud music and almost mute sound effects/speech.

Wait... I didn't even know the Globox village was suppose to be included in this version :o

The 3DS version is based in the DC version.

I think the reason of the Globox Village not appearing again might be the rush of doing a release title. :pfff: If it is to release again another port of DC without the Village then it is better doing nothing.

I'm amazed in how they didn't do a Wii Virtual Console N64 port.

The missing crystals and Village aren't flaws, they were just plain not present. That's like saying the PC version is flawed because it doesn't have any of those. :/

No, they are flaws. You don't understand. The 3DS version was a port of the DC version, which included all that.
