If you want, I can do this.

I tried to follow the entire debate but I got lost in all the arguments, replies, quotes and stuff.
At least thanks to Ad' we had another good point of view about the consequences of press conferences at E3...

This is becoming extremely complex nowadays : understanding the point of view of everyone is hard as hell when it comes to entertainment, and everywhere else.

I've told you many times, but you continue failing to grasp it. Never at any point was I trying to argue that the Xbox One wasn't any worse than the PlayStation 4. Never at any point was I trying to unreasonably defend anything. My intent was to inform people that even though Sony has created a product that receives more positive attention, that doesn't mean the company is any less of a rat or the product is really that much better.

And I wouldn't mind that if you didn't put up an argument when you clearly didn't have the means to put up any kind of a proper one. Unfortunately you did, and it was very weak and ungrounded, so many, many boons were deserved.

I'm not too sure. The average point of view is usually "wii u is gay cuz kid games and shity mario and gay pokemon" or "Jack Reacher is a terrible movie. Tom Cruise is barely even acting in it. I haven't seen the movie though."

Because people are too lazy now to make some efforts and be objective on everything. This is a consequence of consumer society.
The movie part of your comment makes me think to Shia La Beouf. He's almost only known worldwide for Transformers, and depicted as a shallow actor because of that crappy trilogy. To my mind he's a good actor especially in Eagle Eye. And before Transformers his secondary roles are very nice too. But people only focus on Transformers. Annoying.

I own it, but it disappoints me how Big Bruty and Who Turned Off the Lights aren't in this game.

When HD release was new, I thought they will make DLC which includes these levels, but sadly that never happened. I still wish for DLC and Earthworm Jim 2 HD. but they should definitely stay away from Earthworm Jim 3D forever.

Speaking of Earthworm Jim what's everyone's view on Armikrog (the spiritual sequel to the Neverhood that's on Kickstarter right now)?

What's gonna suck about this, is with out a good battery in the Saturn I'll loose any progress unless I talk someone into nabbing a battery for me before powering the console down.
I seriously need to get a Backup cart for this system.

How does saving on Saturn actually work?

Yep, and it definitely is solid now, since I got that battery, thanks to dad picking it up while picking up lunch!

That's a game that I advice everybody to stay away from it. You'll thank me later.

I even disliked it as a kid, and by disliked I mean I couldn't get past that fucking black and white... ah wait I mean Afro American and white (fucking political correctness) war level. I was pretty lost.

Umm, oops.
I thought he was asking if it even works. Sorry about that!
The Sega Saturn has internal memory, much like the Sega CD. Both rely on a battery to keep them fed power, so essentially they are basically a form of RAM. Like in your computer, if no power is supplied, the data is gone.
Though the difference between the Sega CD and Saturn, is that the Sega CD uses a rechargeable battery, soldered in, which the system charges. The Saturn uses a standard, non rechargeable CR2032 battery.
You CAN get a Backup memory cartridge for either system. Which games can support saving directly to them, like a memory card in a PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, N64, and GameCube. Same for the Sega CD I believe, but it's backup card has a rechargeable battery too, while the Saturn's backup card doesn't rely on batteries, much like the Dreamcast and other memory cards don't need any batteries.
I guess this is pretty common for game saves to be relied upon a battery, I think it was in the NES for sure?

I see Last of Us as a traitor game. Until I don't get Uncharted 4 or Jak 4, I am not buying Last of Us.
