Given how modern social media platforms have been like, I do want to see forums and communities make a big come back. Especially since you can maintain proper order. Plus organizing topics and discussions is just way better on a forum anyway.

I think forums make more sense for stuff like tutorials even, and anyone can find the information, even guests. Discord for example can't have guests, and you don't get the content to show up in a search engine.

Speaking of Halloween, I need to go to Walmart for some bubble mailers at work, so I've gone ahead and got some candy for here too.
Unfortunately I couldn't locate the Frankenstein Halloween candy bowl we've had here for so long. No one has an answer.

I hate when something just disappears, especially if it was left in a specific place and has never been moved for so long. Then one day it's not there, but "nobody knows" where it is.

Hey guys! I got my new pc, it’s nice, it’s probably more powerful than I need it to be. Actually it was so powerful that my brother had to turn off the smoothness on it because it gave me a headache… but I can mod games again! Finally!

I'm not sure what one means by "smoothness". I always use the highest refresh rate my monitor supports, if it has anything to do with the display.

I’m not good with computer specs, but the pc comes with a RRX 5080 (I think) and the displays FPM (I think) was too smooth for me. I like my pc a little jank I guess.

Well, what I meant by depressing is the fact how much time has gone by since then. That sort of thing.
I know the feeling. I'm 34 in about 3 weeks. I wonder where the time is going.
I'm 34 and I know where the time went...
... On the road that passed me by.

If it makes you guys feel any better, I'm 25 and even I recognize 34 as young. You're as young as you'll be at this moment, so enjoy it!

So you're saying that by the time you read this I'd be even older?

yeah but the problem is you act like you're old even when a few minutes pass! Self-fulfilling prophecy

Hey when you get silver streaks of hair, and your back gives out and you're stiff and tired all over, you kinda have to start to realise that denial isn't just a river in Egypt.

Does it make any difference when I actually don't feel old?

I don't feel old until I start thinking about my age.
I get that 34 isn't really
that old, but it just feels weird that I'm that age (in just over 2 weeks) already.

it does, I think! Your spirit will stay young.
and yeah 34 isn't even really considered middle aged as our life expectancy increases. I would call 40-50 middle aged, now.

Mine is certainly very young still, I'm still a kid at heart.
I always will be, much like how I still like colorful things over the boring beige trends.
