And? Why exactly do you think The Last of Us to be a traitor game?

Because they were supposed to make Jak 4. They even said it themselves in interview, but later they decided not to do it.

I've read it too, but if I recall correctly, they felt they couldn't do it justice, and wanted to try something new.

Are you really going to hold it against them for doing so? I could easily pull the same trick with Retro and DCKR 2, but I wouldn't.

Speaking of Jak and Daxter, the trilogy re-release on the Vita is coming out so soon, if this is a good port, I will buy.

Ah yes, I do remember them making a trailer announcing the Vita version, please do share your thoughts when you get it, Rayfist, this current gen handheld market has me torn.

I'm sure game developers like Naughty Dog would just be on cloud nine at this point if they were actually able to change their mind slightly once without fanboycotting taking place. I really hate to say this sort of thing, but: Go make a game. Once you begin, very quickly you'll realise how utterly unproductive, annoying and irrelevant your unproductive, annoying and irrelevant fanboys actually are.

Sure thing! It's 30 bucks which is a steal for a new game (or collection remaster if you will),I will be sure to let you all know, I'm happy as both a 3DS and Vita owner.

Also what OCG? Last of Us actually looks great, while I will admit Naughty Dog did lie about being a one franchise per console, I honestly don't care, the more the better, I'll get it when I can, it looks awesome.

It turns out the touch screen can be used as a camera

I've been playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma on my friend's PS3 lately. The enemy AI is really cool. They don't let you stand still. XD Very challenging. There are a couple of annoying camera issues but I don't care - I've been wanting to try that game since ages. How do the original Xbox games (Ninja Gaiden & Black) compare to Sigma - other than the graphical upgrade? I would still like to try the original Xbox games.

Haven't tried The Last of Us yet, but I'd like to someday.

I never said Last of Us doesn't look great. I just know that I would not be happy while playing the game. And to answer Adsolution, being fanboy is bad depending on what level are you behaving. I, myself unlike most of fanboys, respect all opinions of others and will never force mine to be the only one that is right.

Likewise, I can't directly say that your mindset is incorrect, because there's no such thing. I can however tell you that from my own perspective, stating that The Last of Us is a 'traitor game' pretty much does prove that you own an immature, stubborn mindset, as you're holding a grudge against a company and its recent offspring for not producing the game that you want. Sounds fairly fanboyish to me.

Just appreciate the fact Naughty Dog is able to create fantastic new IPs, in an industry where alot of companies churn out sequel upon sequel annually. Sure Jak is one of my favorite franchises ever and Id love a sequel the thought of Naughty Dog attempting to go back to the series after years for their fans, but failing to do so as their concept wouldn't live live up to our expectations leads em to have a lot of respect for them. If they did just go through the development and churned out a Jak "4" which turned out to be a disappointment you would most likely be complaining just as you are now probably calling it a "traitor" to the franchise or some shit. Just celebrate the success of The Last Of Us, Jak 4 could come in the future.

When I think about it, people could say same about Beyond Good and Evil. Since BGAE 2 was still not made, it would be same if someone called Rayman Legends traitor game because BGAE 2 was not still made. I am sorry for my fanboyism before , and I won't do it anymore. I am gonna try out Last of Us.
