I had several made last year and a few done this year so I would have plenty for the tree.

Will you make some new ones next year?

I am doing better today, I tried complimenting myself today and you know what? It worked! I didn't cry from this today!

That's good to hear, mental healthcare is important.

I've been trying to take advantage of the holiday period by picking up my walking again, but it's been a struggle on account of the weather. I don't mind the rain too much, but I am a little averse to getting drenched and having to deal with the subsequent chores that follow.

Not to mention you can get very easily sick if the wind is cold enough.

Truth be told the wind hasn't been the harshest, but I know what you mean, the wind being cold and it being wet really does knock you out.

Yeah and being sick sucks so take care of yourself

I've been fortunate enough not to be hit by anything (yet), despite the flu season apparently being particularly harsh this year.

Not trying to push my luck though, I got hit with a cold bang on Christmas last year, and that was depressing.

Can relate, I once had a flu during Christmas. No fish for me, this was sad

I didn't know fish was a traditional Christmas dish in some regions, that's interesting. Also didn't know you ought to avoid fish when having a cold.

It is traditional here, we're eating carp each Christmas Eve - I cannot wait for it this year! Oh, this was just a me thing, I had such a bad flu that I couldn't eat at all

Ahh that’s nice, sounds like a good dish, not so nice being unable to eat, but I can sympathise, bad flus really do kill the appetite.

But it's all good this year! So all the fish for me
