goddamnit hit the wrong button again x(

LOL that reminds me of a cartoon I used to watch called Ozzy and Drix, minus the gay singing. Basically a TV series of Osmosis Jones only that they're inside a 13 year old kid instead of a slobby man.

I remember that show. That kid got all sorts of diseases, and other body-related problems. He would've died if a cold pill and ONE blood cell entered his body. Really unrealistic. But it's a cartoon. So who gives a

Hehe small world :oops2: I was a major fancunt for Drix.

One episode in particular was about said kid smoking his first fags and it's all like a Nicotine villain infiltrating the brain, and they defeat him by making the boy think for about ice cream or something. I still have tapes of my fave episodes somewhere.

About the poll...
It depends a bit. Obviously I think heavy shit like LSD and Ecstasy and stuff like that should be illegal. But marihuana and stuff like that, I don´t know. I think it at least should be legal for medical purposes, for people who are in great pain and smoke it to tone down the pain for a moment. But also, people who use light stuff, become criminals, and a lot of resources that could rather have been used to chase down the people who deal heavy stuff, are used to punish these. Another argument is that a lot of people smoke weed because it is illegal, and by making it legal, it´s not a forbidden fruit anymore, not as tempting, maybe.
However, if marihuana was legal, people should be informed about the dangers of using it, just like with cigarettes.
I know of a lot of people who smoke weed around my age, but very few who smoke cigarettes, oddly enough.

I've heard of a country that did just that. It's called Bhutan, near India I think.

That´s just the same thing. People would try to buy it by illegal means, making a lot of people criminals. Also, another reason light stuff should be legal is that then people wouldn´t blend other, sometimes unhealthy things in it that could damage people a lot more than the drugs.

(Note that I have never smoked anything in my life and I don´t plan to either.)

More like cause an exodus to Spain and some other countries that don't adopt anti-smoking measures.

Selling tobacco in the United States is still legal mostly because it's a huge business and it really wouldn't be good for all those working in the business to be losing their jobs just because it's outlawed out of nowhere. Lots of people make their living solely on tobacco production, and they'd have nothing to fall back on if it's outlawed, and that's not really fair to them. (Some of those people may not even truly support tobacco use, though it's how they make money.) Plus, it's still the person's choice, so all those people can keep their jobs and if someone doesn't want to use it, they don't have to.
