Here's a mini-trailer!
I have a new custom music track in here. This scene at the beginning is a cutscene in the game, but from where in the game, and what is it about? You'll just have to guess.
So far, this project had been nothing but surprise after surprise. It looks really amazing, and it's almost unbelievable how proffessional most of it looks. Great progress as well.
I have no doubt that this is going to rock.

Like I promised! A new soundtrack part 6!
Remember, go into the video description for a tracks name listing (if you didn't know that already).
I found a new way to import my music to my comp, and I also was able to eliminate the 32 polyphony issue. So now there won't be any skipping sounds like you may have heard before. They also sound a lot more "Hollywood" quality. I'm getting much better at balancing the effects and sounds together to make the final result sound nice.

Great stuff! ^^
It's so refreshing to see a Rayman fan-game which is a) not in 2D and b) slowly getting there! Most seem to trip over a hurdle at some point. Can't wait for the release in 6 years time! I think it's 6 years... correct me if I'm wrong (or if you can be bothered).

I'm aiming for something around there.

That's a max.
If I post updates even once every couple of months and it's moving at a fine pace, then I don't think it'll be too hard to forget. Definitely not once it's published.

Can I join your team? That way we'll be done quicker, and I have programming skills. We could use Ogre for rendering, Newton for physics handling and such. That way the game will feel much more personal, instead of being based on an engine.

Ogre is an engine, Newton is an engine, CryEngine is an engine. But if I wanted to switch, I'd have to 80% start over. Anyway, once I'm in post-secondary (they have licenses to CryEngine3) I'll actually have all the programs I need since you get to dig to the very core there. But thanks for offering.
If you know lua or C++ for the CryEngine, then that would be excellent.
And anyway, I'm sticking with CryEngine, because no other engine I've seen has the power to incorporate the beauty I want in this game.
And believe me, this won't be "just a fan-game" once I'm done with it. I WILL get it published by (hopefully Ubisoft) and I WILL become a Crytek staff member. And I mean it, and nothing can stop me from achieving this goal.

I doubt it'll get published with this title, but, other than that, best of luck at achieving your goals.

Can you suggest a title then that you think would work? I don't really see anything wrong with the current one.

Let's wait until it's finished before worrying about renaming it for publishing.
