Simple, but great!
Oh my. I'll need to convert it to FBX now. And yes please fix the abdomen. xDRayFan9876 wrote:Good god, it's brilliant. Send this nao, I need to animate. Plx. I'll fix the texture on the abdomen as well if you'd like.
First I was busy with that one-whole-week-of-slavery and then I had my holiday. Now that's coming to an end, I'm back for business!RayFan9876 wrote:Where you been?
Oh, no I would imagine not. The complexity the sound must be of the combined wave of millions of droplets of water crashing into solid rock, combined with directional sound - I would imagine that would be very hard to pull off. But your fire idea sounds innovative and effective. I'd say, go!RayFan9876 wrote:Anyway, I would love to find a more crystal-clear sound of the waterfalls, but doing so is actually a lot harder than you'd think. Then again I might actually be able to combine the current roundish sound with that of a raging fire, and that might just give the right effect.

Well I didn't mean it was bad for modelling, I only meant that the user-interface is retarded when compared with any other piece of modelling software, so if you learn how to use Blender, you'll still have no idea how to use any other programme. If you're really keen on only using blender for modelling, then alright, but if you ever have to work with other software, you'll be duped.THEdragon wrote:Oh and Rayfan, remember how you told me that Blender wasn't a good program to use for modelling? I took your advice and I use Sculpturis for that now. I still use Blender for rigging though.
Yeah, I only know how to use about 20% of Blender, it is very confusing. Sculpturis is absolutely fantastic for making 3D models and painting them, in my opinion, but you can't add rigging or animate with it so I had to import the finished model into Blender for that.RayFan9876 wrote:Well I didn't mean it was bad for modelling, I only meant that the user-interface is retarded when compared with any other piece of modelling software, so if you learn how to use Blender, you'll still have no idea how to use any other programme. Remember the big kangaroopig thing in the Rayman 3 intro and the Wanna Kick Rayman videos? I think that'll be my next victim.
Good timing!Spanex wrote:Bump

Alright, send it over! I'm in a good reading mood right now.R3fan2 wrote:This took a long time to do but I have finally finished chapter 6.
Thanks Eshap, it's a real pleasure hearing it from you!Eshap wrote:Sorry for being several centuries late to the party, but I'd just like to say that I loved the stress test. Works at a smooth 30-40 FPS on my PC and it looks beautiful.
Also love the new screenshots that have been posted.
Keep it up, Rayfan.
