Not under any circumstance. Depressed people shouldn't be able to walk into a hospital and have a doctor give them a lethal dose of morphine. Euthanasia should only be permitted for patients who live in constant or near-constant pain, and have no chance of being cured.

If they want to end their life then why shouldn't they?

Because they are often "fixable," per say. And they don't live in constant physical pain, just mentally... Which is still bad enough and nothing that should be taken too lightly but still.

So basically, what you're saying is that you want these to become a reality:
I agree with Limely.

If I ever had to use one of those, I would select quick and painless.

There are a few important things that would have to be taken into account before creating legality on euthanasia. Firstly, there's mental health - it's sometimes impossible to determine whether somebody is mentally inadequate. Then there's religions that would strongly disapprove of the idea of suicide on any account, especially with assisstance. And what if people reconsider the option of death? There's no way to turn back time once dead.

Neither can one turn back time when one commits suicide. Giving suicide a "procedure" makes it seem less emo, I think less people would commit suicide that way. Maybe.

Because they have people that
might care for them. I'm sure they wouldn't approve.

Do you have already an idea for New Year's Eve? Then we could use firecrackers as script
And yeah, the snow looks really great.
Too bad I couldn't see how the snow in the years before was.

We also could have fireworks for New Year.

Are fireworks and firecrackers the same thing?

No, firecrackers are those small things.

Adding fireworks sounds like a good idea, but it may disturb people much more than the snow.

Do it. That'd be cool. It couldn't be more disturbing than the April Fools thing...

I just realised, the snow takes a long time to get to the bottom of a large page.

I don't know about fireworks. It would be cool, but I think it would take concentration off writing the post. With the snowflakes, they look awesome and I can ignore them too.
