Rayman Pirate-Community

Here's a random question: how do you guys think Rayman takes his gloves and shoes off? According to the Rayman Origins trailer, he was created with them, and there doesn't seem to be any sort of hole in his gloves or shoes for him to take them off. And yet, in games like Rayman Raving Rabbids and Rayman Adventures, he wears different gloves and shoes, so he has to have some way to do it, right?

Well, going off my marriage to him, he can take them off using a teleportion magic. Im not sure how it works, and he wont tell me how he does it either!

Can't say I have the technical background to properly scrutinise these sorts of videos (though I'm fairly sure his pupils were similar sizes in-game for R2 and Revolution...), but I do enjoy seeing how in-game models have progressed:


Okay having watched it through, I think 360 RRR has my favourite 3D rendition of Rayman. I also didn't realise the almost skewed-like proportions the Smash Trophy has, his face looked too narrow.

This video was worth watching just to get a close look at the Rayman Rush model.

Do you think Rayman would be really good at karaoke? Especially if his friends do it with him.

Depends on which Rayman. If its from 2 or 3, maybe? If its from the Ubiart games, it would just be a whole bunch of "Yeah! Wahoo! Woah!"

I guess both 2 and 3??? lol

Can you imagine Rayman from Rayman 2, on Karaoke night with the Raymanian language he speaks? He'd probably be quite amusing, actually.

Unless you play Rayman Revolution, which has actual full voicing. But I see what you mean, and I'm pretty sure only his friends understand him XD

Now imagine a Rayman Choir from every version of every Rayman game! Now that wouldd be the most beautiful thing I ever heard, even if it would probably sound terrible.

Each Rayman ranges from Soprano I/II to Bass I/II lol

I'm unsure if I can actually make a Rayman UTAU voicebank, honestly, cuz apparently you can't make one due to some sort of legality thing? (someone correct me pls)

If Ubisoft makes a brand new Rayman game, how would you feel about John Leguizamo voicing Globox again?

The same way I felt about him voicing Globox the first time - having no idea who he is.

I wouldn't care because I most likely wouldn't play the English dub

Yes, all of them. And Rayman 1 and Legends in German also. But I played them all except Legends in English when I was younger.

I recall trying to play Rayman 2 in French, albeit with extremely limited knowledge.
