Yeah, trying to play Rayman in French isn't something I'll have any success with.

Yeah, I'd get confused too but then I'd rely on context clues if that helps?Reese Riverson wrote: Wed Nov 12, 2025 3:36 pm Yeah, trying to play Rayman in French isn't something I'll have any success with.

Like I said earlier, I don't think Leguizamo was a good fit for Globox:TriangulumDelta wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 6:10 pm If Ubisoft makes a brand new Rayman game, how would you feel about John Leguizamo voicing Globox again?
Hunchman801 wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2024 7:52 pm I also strongly prefer Globox's goofy voice in the French dubbing (provided by Jean-Jacques Nervest). Leguizamo's good, but the high-pitched voice he went for just doesn't fit the character so well to me. It's also way more different from his mumbling in Rayman 2.
Oh my god i also really love that version too, def my favorite one of them all.Kiza/Raybox wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 6:00 am I like Rayman 3 version of Rayman. He's the most mature there despite acting a bit childish at times. He seems more responsible and he values his friends no matter what. Such traits make him a really goodvhero ngl
Maybe he's only talkative around his friends and is kinda shy when it comes to strangers, who knows :3Cho-Choo wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 6:10 pm Some people tend to see that version as mean spirited for some reason, but i always see Ray3 Rayman as a sweetheart while also being extremely energetic (probably because of David Gasman's voice acting too, haha). It's a bit sad that he barely has any voice lines in the game tho![]()
It's true, but I don't really mind that Rayman's personality was never developed too much. It keeps an air of mystery around him.Cho-Choo wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 6:10 pm It's a bit sad that he barely has any voice lines in the game tho![]()
Ubisoft probably expected us to make fanworks then if this is the case XDHunchman801 wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 1:56 pm It's true, but I don't really mind that Rayman's personality was never developed too much. It keeps an air of mystery around him.
Additionally, Rayman not speaking too much makes it easier for the player to put himself or herself in the hero's shoes.![]()
Looks like this timeline was the predecessor of the one Ubisoft published in 2015 for Rayman's 20th anniversary.PluMGMK wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 4:20 pm As can be seen on the list of archived topics here: https://archive.raymanpc.com/ – the quality of said fanworks wasn't generally that great XD
Never thought i saw someone mentioning something from my country, i felt a bit proud. The Jonster wrote:Given that I have been watching a certain Filipino soap opera lately, that makes sense!
Love that incarnation of him, also my #1 favorite ver.Kiza/Raybox wrote:I like Rayman 3 version of Rayman. He's the most mature there despite acting a bit childish at times. He seems more responsible and he values his friends no matter what. Such traits make him a really goodvhero ngl

Hehe yeah... time sure flies... and as Rayman has become 17 in 2012, I will a day after tomorrow (kinda scary ngl)RaypersonNikol wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 3:15 pm Rayman goes from an energetic, humorous lil gremlin to a complete badass and it shows.
Now that he's 30, there's NO DOUBT he's having a midlife crisis lolKiza/Raybox wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 4:09 pm Hehe yeah... time sure flies... and as Rayman has become 17 in 2012, I will a day after tomorrow (kinda scary ngl)
I wonder if Rayman had some sort of age crisis one of his days of his pretty life...
Sure thing he does. I won't be wodering if he starts being afraid of dying as much as we all do... also I added him a goatee heheRaypersonNikol wrote: Tue Nov 25, 2025 4:17 pm Now that he's 30, there's NO DOUBT he's having a midlife crisis lol
