All 3 games in the original Rayman trilogy have amazing soundtracks I think we can agree on that. Origins had pretty good music too( that Tricky Treasure music in particular is really catchy). I will allways love the Rayman 1 music though because of how much it means to me. I still hum the Dream Forest and Band Land music a lot.

Again, maybe it is because I never grew up with the music of Rayman 1. I'm not familiar with it at all... so I guess that's the most considerable explanation.

I never understood the extreme appeal of the Tricky Treasure music, it just sort of falls into the crowd of most of the Origins music, I see nothing special about it that stands out.

I liked it though I did hear it a lot due to the amount of times I times I died in the Tricky Treasures.

I would say the same. I like the tune, but there's definitely more of them that I like more. The LotLD music has to be my favourite, and the ones in Angsty Abyss have a good rep overall too. The funny thing with Origins' music is that it's quite incoherent, but fits well with the themes they're going for, and that makes it fun, in my opinion.

The Tricky Treasure music is as neutral for me as most of the musics in RO.

Origins has a fantastic soundtrack, even if it my least favourite from the game. Everything just swings so well with the game, and it really adds to the
themes that It's trying to to bring you into. The only problem is that unlike the trilogy, few songs give me a feeling of "Oh, I remember that part!"
Or maybe I'm just a bugger that needs nostalgia to enjoy something.

It's not old, therefore it's not a masterpiece.
Well, at least anyone can agree with me that Origins' soundtrack is way better than R3's soundtrack?

Yes, that it is.
However, I think that even though Rayman 3 as a whole had worse tracks than Origins, the tracks that I liked from Rayman 3 (like Curious Globox, Reflux, Madtrax) I like far more than the ones I like in Origins (like the Angsty Abyss track, Chasing a Dream).

Origins was very nostalgic for me in music as well as gameplay but Rayman 3 still has some awesome tracks like the Funkyboard music. I could go on forever posting music I love from the Rayman games.

Rayman Origins had certainly a better soundtrack then R3, though personally I enjoyed R3 as a game more.

I share the same opinion as Ad.

Funkyboard is good... not the big deal, but good.

I loved the Reflux music. I really hope Legends has good music too. We already know it has 2 awesome music levels.

For me soundtrack-wise it's just R2 > R1 > R3 > RO all the way. I didn't like RO and I didn't like any of the tracks remarkably and the only song in its soundtrack I properly remember is 'Lums In The Water (Glou Glou)'.

I can't add anything more or less, that put it best.
