< wonders whether a thread for the discussion of the practice of changing one’s username would be a good addition to the members forum, as it seems to be quite a hot topic at the moment, not to mention a controversial one

< reminds everyone that name changes are not easily reverted, especially when < is in a bad mood. It should remain an exceptional situation.
