Mushroom Hill Zone? Hm, my favourite level track from the S3&K era was probably Flying Battery, followed by Ice Cap.
I do think some of the more recent orchestrated Sonic, like Rooftop Run.

Am I the only one that really, really doesn't like the music from modern Sonic games? The music from the early games was very memorable and unique, whereas Sonic 06 just all sounds like a big collection of generic rock. Mushroom Zone is still the way I like my Sonic tunes.
Well, I do like rock as a genre so...
But I do prefer Classic Sonic Soundtrack.

I don't know a lot of Sonic & Knuckles. I used to play it on my Mega Drive (God knows in what deep, dusty box that thing is today) but being 7 I sucked more then a hooker.

I could say the same for most of my childhood gaming experiences.
Either way, I always felt that Flying Battery Act 2 had a hint of James Bond in its theme.

Why are you always trying to say something to make everyone rage at you just for you to go mad because they're picking on you? We all know nobody can take opinions here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the phrase "x is gonna be the shit," supposed to be a positive statement?

That is correct. It can be a positive statement. It is easy to tell when person is speaking because of the tone that person uses, but when someone is typing, it can be harder to understand it. Just how some times sarcasm cannot be detected when someone is typing and it can happen that people think person was serious.

Sonic Lost World has a chance of being one of the best Modern Sonic games.

It's probably the most tasteless way of saying that something is going to be good, but yes.

I would rather prefer saying "it is going to be sick".

I tend to use something a little easy to comprehend, blame my lack of comprehension of slang.

Quickfix: If someone adds 'the' before 'shit', then it's positive. 'Shit' is negative, 'the shit' is positive.

Oh thanks for telling me. I didn't know that 'the' in sentence has an important role.

Note: This only applies when 'shit' is used as a noun. If an adjective (e.g. "This is the shittiest thing I have ever seen" or "This is the shittiest shit I have ever seen"), then it's still negative.
