Mr. Dark is not that teensy until Michel confirmes that or the game comes out. You said by yourself how exacty doesn't look mr Dark. Long hair? mr dark doesn't have hair, hat higher than the magician's hat? mr dark's hat isn't that high. maybe mr. Dark has a long coat, but it isn't dark blue and red, it's dark blue and violet.
The nature of Mr Dark’s hair, the exact colour scheme of his cloak and the precise height of his hat are not only inconclusive; they’re hardly evidence at all, as most returning Rayman 1 characters have been heavily redesigned. Betilla doesn’t quite look like Betilla, and it stands to reason that Mr Dark will not quite look like Mr Dark. The only reason I brought up such minute details was to discredit the idea that Mr Dark was the Magician, as each game is expected to be internally consistent. This means that Mr Dark’s hat or cloak can change appearances between games, but that they should remain consistent within any given game. In Rayman Origins, Mr Dark doesn’t look exactly like the Magician; therefore he is not the Magician. The same logic cannot be applied to Mr Dark’s 1995 and 2011 character designs.

This is purely speculation but some SPOILERS might be there so READ WITH CAUTION!
I've cought something with my eyes in the preview of games radar:
As Rayman, his froglike friend Globox and two teensies (the crown-wearing Grand Minimus and the wizard-looking Dark Teensy, for those who care)
This just gave me the idea that it could be possible that the Teensy in the trailer who looks like Mr. Dark, could be the Dark Teensy wizard, who was a friend of Rayman but something might happened during, or more likely at the end of the story of Origins, that turned the Dark Teensy wizard against his friends, and made him become Mr. Dark, and that transformation would be the end of Origins.
Now while I wrote this down, the title "Origin
s" just made more sense to me, since it's not just the origin of Rayman but also the origin of his firends and enemies.

I don't think the Teensie Wizard will be Mr Dark because the Wizard will still be playable and will always be smiling and if he became against his friends then he wouldn't be playable and help you xD he'd be retarded hahaha

Why? You have the origins of: Mr Dark,Rayman,Betilla,Teensie King,Moskito/Bzzit,Teensie Wizard,unknown fairies,Polokus and maybe more returning characters we don't know yet

Actually the idea that one of Rayman’s Teensy friends was corrupted by the nightmares of the Bubble Dreamer and became Mr Dark is brilliant. It would also explain why the developers went the route of creating a new character to be one of the four playable ones – he might not be a new character at all. Assuming that the zombie granny who instigated the invasion is the game’s final boss, and the corruption of the Teensy takes place immediately afterward the final battle, everything makes perfect sense. Perhaps the shot of the Mr Dark Teensy on the hilltop in the second trailer is the last thing we’ll see at the end of Rayman Origins, right before the credits roll – meaning that he’s just summoned an army and is on his way to steal the Great Protoon, which is where the original game kicks in. This would add new meaning to both Rayman Origins and Rayman 1, and I like it very much.

No,still makes no sense,unless it's a good idea,you would probably be able to revisit the levels after the main storyline and you'd be able to play as the Teensie Wizard.

That’s a rather easy obstacle to overcome; the developers could simply make it so that it’s impossible to save after the final level, just like in Rayman 2.

That would be a shit.You can't just apply a 1999 method to fix a problem today.Anyways they won't do that,because Ancel say you'd unlock new levels after beating the final boss and this couldn't be possible if the game doesn't save after the final boss
Till the moment I have heard that Mr Dark could be the Magician and the Teensie Wizard.And I'm almost sure none of those theories are true.I think Mr Dark won't have anything to do with any other character and the Mr Dark will be Mr Dark since the very start
