What I find sad is people spending a fortune on a Mac when with the price of a Macintosh you can create two PCs top-range or even more depending of which Mac you choose, and all with same (or better) performance and functionalities.

Indeed. And not only that, OS X is an incredibly closed system in comparison to its Unix siblings or Windows itself.

Why are people even buying apple products that much? I mean they are ok but people are praising them like best things ever.

Hm, credit where it's due, I think Apple products have their places, particularly in Media, but as a day to day computer, my tastes lie solely with the PC.
As for the smartphone market, well, one thing Apple has is consistency, since Android devices are great and many, there are many different devices to cater to, as opposed to a few ones, which I'd assume makes development easier, seeing as Apple devices tend to get apps first before Android.

About development part, I agree. Some games are lagging on Android phone if they are weaker. Games on iPhone never lag. But beside that, there are many great Android phones that are better then iPhone.

I must disagree. It is not just a battle about performance and hardware. For a equivalent PC, the thing that makes Mac a step above is that the hardware is designed for the system, therefore it is more optimized (see how many version of a driver you can have on PC for a USB device?).

But the Mac/PC war is, in my opinion, foolish. They don't have the same purpose anyway.

About the customers, I agree Apple fanboy are sometimes really stupid, specially iPhone use (as it is explained in the video).

By the way, I bought a brand new Sony Xperia Z. It's a very good smartphone but sometimes, Android just makes me wants to trow it through the window: why the fuck can't they fix the fucking keyboard? Such a pain in the ass to use the shitty native keyboard

I do prefer iPhone keyboard over Android one I must admit.

I never used an iPhone keyboard so I can't say but as for Android, I sometimes can write a sentence and once I'm done, I can literally see the smartphone writing it with a 3s lag. What the fuck?

Ah yes, go with the official Google Keyboard, not the ones that manufacturers put on, it's much better, I put that on my Xperia Arc S, and it's a much better experience typing, though there is still the aggravating lag, but that's more to do with my phone not being able to handle the more up to date CPU hogs which a phone of today can deal with.

I shall try different keyboard. I've heard SwiftKey and Swype are good too.

Swype is bloody amazing. I could type a fraction of the speed lower than the speed at which I was thinking. It was almost like talking but on the phone.

Good, I'll give it a try. Any other recommendation?

Even though I have an iPhone, Blackberry keyboards are easily my favourite. I could type up to 65 WPM on my old Curve 2.

I don't type well on phones, be it touch or qwerty, tablets are much better, but a conventional keyboard is still the best and most efficient medium for me to type on.

Well, isn't this one of the stupidest things you've ever said!

I can type on my regular phone at what others call insane speeds. I use letter-per-letter system too; I find that more comfortable than that annoying T9.

I dislike T9 a lot.
