I, myself, use a mouse very often to find my way through the windows on my screen, yes.

I use a tiling window manager, i3 to be precise, which is arguably really oldschool. I also use the VimFX extension for Firefox. It's very nice, even if my far-from-perfect typing skills make me "click" on wrong links quite often.

Holy-moly, that's some real bare-bones UI there.

I'd guess so, if there's any digitising these days, it's more likely to be DVDs.

There's been plenty of incentive for me to get it immediately, but finances come into effect. So perhaps so, but perhaps not.

No, I've seen some of my classmates use 'em. Me, I'm more old fashioned, using one wallpaper for my desktop. Though I do use another for the lock screen.

No, I think it has its uses. For one it's easier for dyslexic people to read.
