I'm surprised I never knew this topic existed. You guys are digging into some really cool stuff.
I am a programmer myself but I've never delved into reverse engineering anything.
I'd love to help out but I'm not sure where to start.

Okay guys, recently, I scrolled back into my R3HD Textures, and found some kinda weird textures, named mnu_secr, we couldn't convert it, but in R3HD, I got it to work, it's kinda interesting, since it's meaning "menu secret" so, yeah, I think it's a secret menu we've never accessed, or I probably think it's a scrapped feature, but ye, it's in every Rayman 3 versions, even in the PC demo/ps2 demo, so I guess it's kinda final

We really have to check, and I'm making a call to everyone to try some theories and to post them here!

Hmm, a bunch of randomly coloured Piggybank illustrations? Odd, but well, I'm not sure what we're meant to really make of it at this point.

But, something interesting, they leaved here the old early piggybank (yes, the center one is a bit different from the one above him) which was in the beta demo :p
Also, R3HD had some textures that we never found, I was too lazy to post them so yea here they are (Some of them aren''t here because I didn't really really checked)
(also, I'm too lazy to upload them all so I just put them here as using lightshot to capture them)

Now we finally know how much degree is plum juice (49°) but we don't know if it's Celsius or Fahrenheit!

Removed bowling logo, dunno why. (dat mistake though with Raman)
Didn't took screen buuut, I found some early names: Hoodlums Star and Smash Tennis.

Found in Knarrens desert folder, named "slip" so yeah xD

In the boat of Summit Beyond Clouds folder, it's in pink,blue,green.

Be careful about alcohol concentration: in Europe, the unity is the Gay-Lussac degree (°GL or °), but in the US, it's called 'proof' and it's only half a 'usual' °.
Damn, if Globox is able to drink an entire barrel of a 49°GL liquid and doesn't die after that, he's freaking beefy.

I don't know. I saw the entire word first, which means 'swarm' in English. Maybe a model for a big group of lums or something.

Thanks, sad news though, because R3 don't have secret menu, it was in beta probably, because we checked with RibShark by modifying menu address but nothing.

I used a hex editor to look for data that could be corrupted and then the
Vinesauce corruptor to alter the data. There are some clear patterns in the .gpt file that I think represent position/rotation/scaling data, so I tried corrupting those.

Also, this means they're not checksummed, which is good!

Well if I have some time I will try to look more into how the models and animations are stored. The animations should be easier to figure out since they show a clear pattern of values, so they are most likely not compressed. World models are gonna be a bit harder.

Hmm, RDS is a direct port of the N64 version, right? Couldn't those text strings could be left over from the original code?

I never read any of the first half, but the rest is present on signs throughout the game, like in the Canopy and in the Sanctuary of Water and Ice.
The first few seem like respawn quotes and taunts from any sort of boss (though I expect they are all Razorbeard's). The "Did you remember to say goodbye to Ly?" sounds like it came straight out my script!
Now why would it specify Ly above all other friends/companions of Rayman's? Is she special? Was this Rayman x Ly thing truly supposed to be more than an idea put into artwork but never explicitly mentioned in-game? Is there a speicifc reason Ly can communicate with Rayman telepathically, i.e. because they're so 'connected', because they are in love?

They aren't on N64, that's why it's weird

The 'nice find' is, by the way, completely unrelated to my speculating. I wasn't implying you found the be-all-end-all proof, but rather another clue that, to me, points in an obvious direction. However, finding it was indeed, a nice feat.

Very amazing find! Especially, the Ly parts. Since being a RaymanXLy supporter, I am happy to read the part with: "Did you remember to say goodbye to Ly.?" like Razorbeard is thinking he will win the fight, and Rayman never will see his love again.
So, Ly was about to walk over the plank, after getting captured by the pirates. Nice informations!
