Hi there!
What I especially like are these green climbing plants on the first screenshot, it really well fits the environment. And if the carnivorous plant could have been a little boss, it would be fun

I recognize that old carnivorous plant that was scrapped from the final game.

All you have to do is to switch the data.win file of Rayman ReDesigner with the data.win from the mod.
Anyway, there's pretty much no point in attempting to play this mod (unless you're still playing ReDesigner version 1.2.2, as it'll very likely be incompatible with everything else)
as it has been discontinued, and its content has already become part of Rayman ReDesigner itself since version 1.3.0, and it's also no longer a simple graphic swap with preexisting objects like what Frozty's mod did.
While I'm here, a bit of news on my stuff!
Break Through Metal has been updated with some minor improvements to polish a few rough edges of this stupidly insane level!:
-Removed incidental mention of "extra backgrounds" in readme
(no no, I totally didn't copy-paste parts of the Undefeatable Fist readme back then!...
) and added links to the RPC post and Undefeatable Fist.
-Updated the readme with the overhauled format.
Section 1 (Break Through Metal):
-Moved the Gendoor for the flying Space Mamas behind you a bit further so you have fewer chances of getting stuck taking damage.
-Added five Red Pricklies to better warn you of a few threats.
-Added five Grey Pricklies and five Yellow Pricklies in a few parts of the aerial chase for a tiny bit more challenge/intensity where needed.
-Moved two Brush Boys and Razorbeard's secret text upwards so you can more easily read what he says in the easter egg area.
-Added more background decorations in the central tunnel of the easter egg area as it looked too empty.
-Moved one of the secret Invincibility power-ups so it's more useful.
-Moved the first three Piston Springs so you're less likely to accidentally fall to your doom.
-Moved some of the enemies in the underground pirate base so they're less likely to pester you.
-Added an extra Magician Exit to restart the first section, with an alternate spawn point at the beginning of the easter egg.
Section 2 (Undefeatable Fist):
-Moved the restart Starting Position a bit to the right so you're less likely to hurt yourself in the Tall Flame.
-Slightly moved the position of a few objects for aesthetic purposes.
-Moved that one pesky Toy Train that would annoy you if you backtrack to the secret ending so it won't still be active by then.
I've also given a minuscule update to
Undefeatable Fist just for the sake of parity with the Break Through Metal new expanded readme.
As for GBC ReDesigned... the project ISN'T abandoned!
I'm still in the
extremely slow process of finishing Dark Legacy
(a level which should have taken only a few days to complete if the incompetent author of this project was good and productive at whatever he was doing
), but also updating all of the levels for 1.4.4! This will end one of the major steps which are part of this
Rayman Recolored project...
(Nah, I'm not actually gonna call it like that because it sounds too much like an actual game recreating Rayman GBC and its ports which would be overly pretentious for a ReDesigner project, but feel free to use it yourself if you do remake the game!
)
I wonder what I could call Rayman 2 Forever as "ReForever" wouldn't make any sense, and "Rayman 2 Remember" would be even more stupidly cliché

For some reason, no matter the version, my computer won't let me save any level I make. Even if I had reinstalled the game multiple times, even if it were moved to desktop. It just says it's saved but then never shows up again, even when I look for it outside of the game.
I'll make a video showing my issue, also I managed to reinstall my rayman origins save on my older computer so it is now dedicated solely to rayman games.

I might actually give this fangame a shot.
Might try to make a Weirdcore or Dreamcore type level, or maybe even Nostalgiacore.

Y'know, after almost half a decade, I still haven't ever tried ReDesigner, or even replayed Redemption for that matter!

Why is the "Section [number]" box like this, isn't it supposed to be in the middle, not far to the right?
Also I'm having the saving issue too, it says the level is saved but it doesn't pop up in my files.
I really want to use this program but I don't know who to contact, I need help to fix this. I can't use it to its full potential if it's not behaving, nor can I share my levels if it's acting up.
Please and thank you.

Unless I don't get your question, that doesn't look wrong to me...? That's how it always normally looked in my case, you're supposed to used the WASD keys to move around the editor. Holding CTRL while scrolling with the mouse's middle button also zooms and unzooms which is highly convenient.
Have your made sure you saved the level txt file in your desired folder? Sometimes, you can confuse your own personal "BundledLevels" folder with the one of the same name inside Rayman ReDesigner's folder.
It's also heavily discouraged from saving your levels to the game's folder as there's an issue inherent to GameMaker which Ryemanni never managed to fix. My own levels have always been written to that path: C:\Users\{YourUserNameHere}\AppData\Local\RaymanReDesigner\BundledLevels
If saving doesn't work at all, I can't help you further... I would tell you to contact Ryemanni but he's quite removed from Rayman now and I'm not sure he would be interested in fixing the game's issues now...

...Wait, really??? ...Is that what's been going on?!
I feel embarrassed now, and possibly stupid, cuz I thought it'd be automatically zoomed out.
As for the saving, I thought the custom made levels would go into the Custom folder in my Downloads instead. Guess I was wrong qwq
I am so sorry, Saturn, I thought the game was messing up but instead it was me being entirely dumb, will learn from this.

No worries! I wasn't much better when I first used the editor, we all had our struggles figuring it out. It took me months before mastering it, it's pretty clunky at first but it gets very fun and easy once you get the hang of it!

Feel free to ask more questions here if there's something else you can't figure out!
I also advise you to check the README file in the game's folder as it has a lot of tips and it'll teach you all the keys to use in the editor, including one tied to
an interesting secret...

Nice, the idea kind of reminds of the bonus stages from the original Rayman!
That also reminds me I should definitely redesign my own bonus stages once I get back to my old levels, using the Gendoor Fairy and its ability to pick up Colored Tings/Bolls from the last updates as a timer!
By the way, for some little advice: you can actually group your levels and music together by bundling them into a ZIP file!
You just need to create a "Custom" subfolder to put the ogg file inside and that way players can easily merge it with their game's.
You can even add a subfolder inside named after yourself/a series of levels you're making/etc., so it's easier to navigate through custom assets when people download a lot of creations (for example, this is what the typical path looks like when put inside Rayman ReDesigner in my case: "
Rayman ReDesigner\Custom\Mortamon Saturn\{PNG/OGG files there}").
Otherwise if you prefer your current method, you should put lone png/ogg files into a folder (optionally within a Custom subfolder too for extra convenience) as direct files are automatically renamed into the Redistributor code when published there, preventing the custom file's path you already set from being recognized by the game.
It's also advisable to do something similar for level txt files as Redistributor is infamous for sending users to the actual text of the level file instead of downloading it when clicking the Download button
(btw if you ever encounter the problem yourself when downloading levels, right click on the Download button and select "save target as" to get the file!
).

Noted, will try that next time!! That's actually really good advice. Thank you, Saturn!!

Um, how do I port everything on previous version to the new one or make these graphics packs able to be read by the program?
