You just took the words DIRECTLY out of my mouth after I merely noticed it.
I don't know why they did, but it IS medieval times.

Now that I saw the pirate symbols.... My hopes to see Razor coming back got lighten up. I don't care if my hopes are too high, I'm really crossing fingers!
This said, the game looks really excellent. I'm looking forward to see more in the E3! =D
Yes, I'm still alive. :'D But when it's about Razorbeard I get totaly crazy. ...Can't blame me, though.

I think this trailer has well proved that Michel Ancel cares about the fans.
Notice how Rayman origins sold quite poorly, and yet he still makes a sequel, really awesome guy.

It is what I say: why things happen when I'm busy with school stuff?!
I watched the trailer few hours ago, and Ubisoft totally convinced me.
The game looks EPIC! *o* Now this is already another thing! The first images and the leaked development video were seriously making me feel worried so I was having low expectations at first, but now I'm totally excited for it now. I hope they'll make this a better game than Rayman Origins!
I was already predicting the game would be a title for Wii U, but at the same time I feel sad...

I don't really think I can get a Wii U so so so soon... Or if I'm ever getting one. Darn... Even Nintendo said the Wii U would cost more than Wii at release (Meaning for Europe it will be a price superior to 250€) and with times of economical crysis like the one that is happening in Portugal and other places, it is very difficult. I would prefer to see a console price cut especially knowing that Wii U won't be as powerful as PS3 (and I got my PS3 for 250€!).
I'm glad they are adding online mode! Does that means that co-op will be online too? Or it is only for minigames? I hope the minigames don't get boring quickly like in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.
New playable characters? The Vicking Girl intrigues me, but I wonder if previous characters from previous games would appear.
Now I really like the graphism, the blurry pictures weren't making enough justice to me.
Is it me, or they use the Skylanders' game mechanics? If yes, I do hope they won't abuse in the quantity of playable figures, or else it will be another problem. Have you guys seen the real price of Skylanders' game? It is superior to 300€ if you want to fully experience the game.
What I didn't see coming was the Rabbids. To be honest, if they are in here just to be defeatable enemies, I like it.

I have nothing against them, at least for now.
I must see E3 2012, that's for sure!

Well, this girl uses an axe. That's a pretty big plus in my book, considering how awesome it must feel to attack.

Time to disect my brain and gather all my thoughts:
Rayman 1,2, and 3.
Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends, ?????
As sabertooth said, which now I am pointing at.
Yes, Rayman Legends, what can we think about this game? I for one think it looks good. I wasn't excited as much as I was with the RO trailer, but that might just be because we have not seen a new Rayman game in 8 years or so at the time, what can we think of Rayman legends? I'm already seeing some crybabies about this game. Sure Rayman doesn't fit in medieval times, but think of it this way, the game might have a glorious story, and a beautiful enviornment. Every Rayman game is known for having it's own unique different enviornment. I for one, think this game will be just good. I will definetly buy if it gets a pc release. And the online mode sounds fun.
Let's appreciate what we have. UBIsoft never left Rayman and passed it onto another company (Crash and Spyro), we should be happy for what is standing right in front of us as of now, lets just take what we can get for now, I for one won't complain and enjoy this, and I am looking MUCH forward to it!

Now that I think about it... why toys? why not simply downloadable content? it would be better, I mean, if unlockables are based on toys, then some countries would be unable to get them due slow distribution (actually, I got RO on eBay... the retail game is not even in my country!)

Also, just as a side note...
Does anyone else think that if there will be a third "Origins" (or rather, Origins-like) game, it would probably be the last until the actual Rayman 4?
Look at it like this - we had Rayman 1, 2 and 3. They might just have 3 Origins-based games (if not 2), and then move towards the game we all want: Rayman 4!

You may know this already, but the music is mainly placeholder tracks taken from film scores.
Yeah, I guessed as much, though I wasn't sure. Well, at at least it's not as bad as the music from the last video.
It also means they're going into the "epic" and "magical" direction for the music style, which is a very good thing.

Actually, I'll go back on my words here. I watched the trailer again and I was surprised by how much I heard the Rayman Origins theme come back in it. I don't think this is a placeholder track...

It might turn out just to be DLC for consoles other than the Wii U.

I heard that the first time, and was really confused when everyone started saying it was placeholder stock music

Speaking of Electoons, I wonder how the cage mechanic will be implemented...will they stick to the RO style, revert to an older style, revamp it again or remove it?

That's possible too, but I'm pretty sure that Ubisoft (and thus Michel Ancel and co.) know about how much the fans want to see Rayman 4.

It would be good to have it Rayman 2 style

How can you have it R2 style in a 2D game?
I hope it's Rayman 1 style

It kind of begs the question will the Wii U games actually be able to support DLC? If not, then I guess the bonus features may be added as downloadable packs for everyone else.

If 3DS does with last update,it would be a fail if Wii U didn't
