I only complain about the buttons (hard to press) and the fragile finishment. Once my 3DS fell around 20cms of height and it desintegrated a little the finishment in a corner of the D-Pad. One of the most stupid things is that the console was closed when it fell. :pfff:

I heard the scalling done to the games in XL gets pixelized, ugly and the 3D effect is worse. I also don't get why it isn't bundled with the charger, it is stupid.

There's no charger bundled?
Hm, I wasn't aware of that.

Unfortunately, that 'breath of fresh air' they saught out deviated from what made the series so fun and inventive in the first place. They saught out something much more generic and lifeless this time around.

Yes, and it's a shame. Most people didn't have too much fun with Wario World and Shake Dimension, but I enjoyed those, but this... this is bad... really bad, and to be honest I'm not really agreeing with my own comment anymore, cause looking at it a second time it didn't seem they were really trying to make something new and good (Like Epic Yarn. It's not classic Kirby, but it's a damn good game.) and instead hoping to quickly put out a game that I guess is meant to kind of "keep people busy" while the Wii U's real games come out during August - January.

At least it is interesting how the game will be slightly cheaper than the others. Did Nintendo know about the game's flaws?

Considering how superior Nintendo Land is to this game, I'm sure they were very much aware that tilting the gamepad around does not make for a full price presentation.

I actually heard that is a problem with the DSI XL, not the 3DS XL, I played a demo of the 3DS XL, sound quality was horrible, but 3d and scaling, just fine really.

Also why did you drop your 3ds? You really need to take good care of those things with the way they're designed.

It slipped off my hand while I was sitted in the chair, I even don't know how it happened, but it fell to a floor of wood.

Christ and I thought a little drop to my floor was bad, something to certainly worry about. The material those things are made out of make it so any dents or scratches are permanent.

Ninty run out of nintendium?
Ahh, regarding the 3DS XL, I did try it out at a store, and it was stationed near a normal 3DS, I gave both a shot, and the XL just took my fancy more, though the lack of a charging cable is problematic, given that I don't own a DSi or DSi XL, but a normal DS Lite.

The cable's the same as the DSi's one? That's odd, but great for me! It's ridiculous that they don't give you one when you buy a 3DS XL.
Rayfist wrote:You know what we should have got? Warioware D.I.Y 2 for either the 3DS or Wii-U, Warioware D.I.Y. is hands down my favorite, so much endless possibilities, imagine a second one with more features and new abilities to make games, it was really fun.
I love WW DIY - if I have a little idea in my head for some music, I can quickly sketch up a full and, considering its possibilities, great sound so I can later translate that into something in Cubase.
I've had tons of fun exploring the possibilities of just using single-touch commands and chaining different programming clauses together to achieve one single effect, but I must say that designing the games themselves has become less attractive to me over time.

I'd like a WW DIY 2, but I think I'd much rather have a dev toolkit for the 3DS. :P

The floor was smooth by the way, which makes me even more upset because it shouldn't have made sense loosing a bit of the shiny finishment.

I dropped my 3ds too, fell out my pocket at college and there's a somewhat distinctive dint on the front. Its the limited edition Zelda one too which annoys me greatly as I wanted to keep it looking nice. I've bought protective cases for both my 3DS and Vita now, they both look retarded, but at least it'll keep them in good condition.

Hmm, my PSP has taken a few falls as well, and the analogue stick could do with a nice wipe, but despite these, the console itself doesn't look too bad.

I once dropped my DSi pretty high onto a stone. Not a single scratch. Dropped it from couch height on a laminated floor. Broken button and half the top screen scratched.
