@Ad Fixed the typos.
But I can agree in one thing: the graphism and the controls in the Wii U are phenomenal, in the demonstration. Now we're yet to see how it behaves the final version.

Ironically, according to recent news, Wii U is selling perfectly in Europe but it was terribly received in UK.
Back on-topic... I already tried the demo, it's fine, but I kinda dislike the new way how you control Rayman, it's impossible to execute combos unlike Origins, you just give a flat punch and that's it, the Lividstone disappears. I'm not talking about bubblizing, that sucked. I'm talking about the fact that, before the enemy died, you were able to punch it as many times as you wanted. That's not the case here.
It also hurts me in the soul that you can't perform the swipe-to-air kick anymore, I loved making dragon chefs fly and then kicking them in the face. If you press down and then the attack button, the only thing you'll do is perform some sort of retarded OP crush attack. The only bit of fighting skill that Origins had was removed in Legends, and I'm disappointed with that. But as I said, the music and the settings are amazing, the game runs in full 1080p!!! and the multiplayer is fun, Murphy can be such an asshole when he wants

Source, please?
The solding out of UK was a week before the release date. Unless those news confirm that because of Xmas, the shops are selling more units.

That sounds irritating, they bubblise now before they even hit the wall/floor from knockback?

Hold on there Spot, calm down. Are you referring to some nonexistent face that Rayman Origins could be played in 1080p on every system but the Wii? Have you already forgotten the fact that the Wii U uses 'scaled' 1080p, not 'full' 1080p?

You're right. That sounds really bad. Why would you remove the possibility of players endlessly slapping things if they want? I guess it's in favour of the heavily coop-orientated aspect of this game that Origins lacked (sometimes).

The source doesn't mention the success of the console in the rest of europe, but if you investigate how are the Wii U sells worldwide, it is doing pretty fine.

Exactly. Well... they don't even bubblize, they just explode.

Err... no. It is definitely running in full 1080p.
EDIT: I've investigated. It's scaled.... d'oh u_u
... but it's still visually impressive ñ_ñ

Then does that means that RL actually runs at 720p quality?

Nope, still runs in 1080p, in other words, the art is more clear.
I'm still disappointed with the combat. I know every enemy is supposed to die with one hit... but I loved doing combos, I don't care if it was pointless, seing the different reactions of the lividstones against the walls and in the air was priceless and pure platforming magic.

Oh right, I remind when I played the demo in the hypermarket that the enemies disappear with one hit. I kinda liked the combos in Origins though.

Oookay...
Origins wasn't bad, by all means it is a terrific game, the problems we have with it relate to how the game relates to past games and how Origins compares as a Rayman title.

I never noticed the lack of combos until just now, and to be honest I didn't feel like they were really too necessary in the demo level.
Legends looks just fine in its HD state, and too be honest, I don't really care that It's not full 1080p. Origins looked just fine with the Wii's 480p.
