Wasn't Droolie at some point very near cracking it? He had the Sanctuary of Water and Ice loaded up with all its models, except they had been translated to the (0,0,0) world coordinates, making everything a big mess. But it was a huge step! For the first time we could see the geometry of a level from a bird's eye view and I was getting all excited over the possibility of him breaking that puzzle's hard-coded seal soon thereafter. But I guess it was too much of a challenge... or perhaps he has a life. xP

If that were the case, he would still have to find a way to get the modified worlds back into the game, which is a lot harder than just extracting it.
Hey, this gives me a great idea, how about a 3D Rayman Designer-like mode for ROTD?
Level editors are boss.

Weren't you already thinking about doing this? :O
This is one of the first things I thought my game should have, since I do love games with editors OH so much. Then again, building a full editor from scratch is a pretty hard thing to do, so I wish you good luck. Perhaps you should make a sort of plugin for CE3 to be able to handle your specific files easily instead.

Coming back to Revolution - I have never encountered any glitches, or at least anything that has any effect upon the game.

Brilliant idea, though doesn't CryEngine have level editing tools anyway?

Both actually.

The thing is that Rayman Revolution uses a really strange format that first loads everything, without any coordinates (resulting in the (0,0,0) coordinates I got). Using the information in a second file, it later puts everything where it belongs. I don't completely understand the first file, but I managed to understand it enough to get what I got. The second file is their own format, I think, and it's a huge mess.
So yeah, it's a challenge, but also one that's just not really worth solving.

That's an interesting method, could that possibly explain why 3D Ripper DX shoves everything nearly into a single plane when you capture Revolution's frames? I'm not sure if that's related at all.
By the way. on the note of 3D Ripper DX + Revolution, I found that it isn't quite perfect plane, but they're spaced apart by the smallest possible increment that the 3DR format could hold. I spent about ten minutes stretching it out and eventually I got a really malformed 'level;' some of the terrain was in the right places, but some facets were scattered about almost randomly. I got a really mangled minisaurus too.

I'm doing just fine, thanks. Just have a lot of work for uni, that's all. ^^

It's possible that it's because of Rayman Revolution's bad usage of Renderware (which already was an outdated engine), but I think that what you're saying is more related to the way the graphics plugin works. Does it happen with other PS2 games and/or have you tried using another graphics plugin?

Another glitch. This time on Crow's Nest. Exactly, camera glitch.
If you want to see it/try to perform, I've uploaded it on YT:

How in Polokus's name did you manage to have only your starting amount of Energy at the final bossfight?

Cheats. Cheats. Gothere.
I have got one profile for testing glitches. It's cause of it.

...What?
TAS? As in Tool Assisted Speedrun? On the GBC version of Rayman 2?
Seems interesting, but speedrunning isn't my forte, but I'm sure others may be capable.
