That happened to me once and I was actually surprised because no one questioned why I left their server before. Then, I rejoined to see if there were any new messages but I figured the server was dead because the last new message was from a year ago so I decided to leave forever. And then I get a new message where he's complaining and asking why did I leave, and at this point I couldn't stand it anymore and just didn't understand why he messaged me complaining as to why did I leave every time I left.

You do not deserve such treatment from such a person. He is a control freak to the adsolute max!
