It seems that it works but you need to be facing them, and the third chicken keeps touching you most of the time though. It may depend on where you are too.
I just tried it to see if it really worked.

It was originally found by Rayomz/Knaaren from Tumblr.

Interesting, might have something to do with how Rayman is in first person.
...Eesh, I forgot how unsettling the Zombie Chickens can be in Rayman 3.

Its more creepy when the music doesn't play ( sometime I go too fast and some musics don't play for some reason ) all you hear is them "breathing" and its just creepy.

Also, if you put yourself in first person and then enter that photo thing Rayman is no longer there, that's probably why the chickens have trouble touching you since you're an invisible camera.

That's pretty cool Zepto, I never knew you could deter them!

I never knew either. There is also a mode, that I already posted a while ago, that if you type "reverse" on your keyboard while playing the game will mirror itself, giving the game some more difficulties if you're replaying it. ;)

Hm, could you share all that you know? There's some stuff here I've never seen or heard of before.

That's pretty much all I know sadly. :(

Edit: oh wait, sometime ago I was looking at glitches and someone found this:

Exactly that point was for me the most frightened moment in all Rayman franchise. Back when I was older I just wanted to finish this as fast as possible.

Ah, yes, that video, I've seen that before.
I've never been able to replicate it though, don't see I'd have to mind you, using cheat engine can easily give unlimited Throttlecopter.
I've always thought that the area he discovers serves the same purpose as some of the hidden areas in Rayman 2, to be used in cutscenes.
Speaking of which, has anyone been able to find if there is some way to make the unlimited flight from Beneath the Sanctuary usable in other levels?

The summit beyond the clouds? I found it to be the most innocent and calm level in the whole game. While the hoodlum headquarter is a nightmare itself still for me.

Hm, no I haven't found a way, other than the weird glitch thing that happens when I put my emulator on interpreter I haven't been able to get that.

Speaking about glitches, this is the best one I came across on youtube.

RIP Rayman.

Nah, I must agree with you, that beyond the clouds is truely a peaceful and nice world. I was so releaved and glad everytime I reached that world. The knaaren world is a nightmare and I don't agree with you that the hoodlums headquarter is a nightmare. More or less it's challenging but not as frightening as the knaaren world.

That's pretty damn cool!

The desert of the Knaaren used to scare the crap out of me when I was little but now its my favorite level. :) The Hoodlums Headquarter is a nightmare to me because I always have hated rising water/lava levels, plus this one is going fast, earlier while recording I almost died in the lava, I was constantly in it. Then again playing with a keyboard is kinda hard. :|

I would laugh my ass off if that happened to me oh my god.

Hahah I'd be so annoyed because getting up to Reflux on those flying bits is actually hard >.>

I found the last boss to be hard at first, but after that you've done it 50 times its really easy.

ahaha as I've probably done it about 4 times it's a right bastard :P I HATE the last bit where you have to shoot him when you're in that speeder thing... It's SO inaccurate, am I the only one who finds this?!

I'm glad that my xbox controller got a turbo button, else I would get sick of pressing X over and over again at this part. :x I found that part a bit annoying but when he lands the background is beautiful.

Ugh I had to do it without a turbo controller and ruined thumbs!!! It's so inaccurate ,when reflux charges it's so easy to miss... that's poor game design IMO

Not really, you just gotta get used to the controls, its supposed to be hard, not easy, its the last boss after all, so harder control it is for this. :P
