I daresay that the PS Vita may be the most underrated system of all time.

In my country people are all like crazy for the PS Vita, so I have to disagree.
I thought the underrated one was the Wii U, or even the Wii. Is PS Vita underrated? yes, sure, why not... but is it the most underrated of all time? I don't think so. I dare to say that Sega Dreamcast wins that prize. And this is the fifth time I use the "Oh you!" picture.

Well, I also think that PS Vita is underrated. I don't know anyone who knows what it is or doesn't see the difference beetween PSP and Vita.

I have seem none of them anywhere except in the internet and in PS3 itself.

I guess smartphones are making portable consoles just useless.

EDIT: Corrected a few spelling mistakes.

I don't see how people draw the connection between smartphones and portable gaming consoles. Back when the 3DS came out, I told a friend I wanted it, and he said I should get an iPhone instead. Why? Smartphones and tablet only have quick on-the-go games that you might play for five minutes at most. It seems that people are forgetting that a console is made to play games on, and not for all the pointless gimmicks (Like the GameCube receiving criticism for being unable to watch movies on it).

The PS Vita is indeed underrated. Even my brother who is quite a Sony lover has not bought one yet.

Okay just opened my Christmas present and I got a Wii U. Shit got serious. I need to get Rayman Legends now. Let's see if I can, since my mom's birthday is in fact in February.

Normal consoles are made for real gaming and Jungle Run is a great example of good portable game for smartphones.

To make portable consoles successful they should put all kinds of other features to them, too. Nowadays you can entertain yourself for example in busses other ways too than gaming.

When I take my phone out of pocket I rarely want to play something. (Portable consoles by the way don't fit to pockets, or do they?). I read news, browse a few forums like this etc. Sometimes I do play Jungle Run or other games, but sometimes I think that they are advancers of staring to the screen all day culture.

I prefer to keep my eyes on to watch what's happening around me, though I think smartphones etc. are good things.

One thing I can admit: I do prefer Vita a thousand times than PSP, I totally hated the PlayStation Portable.

@TeensieKing I guess Santa can still be generous for some people. :P

I do suppose you're right. I don't really keep up with smartphones/tablets/whatever is being released lately, anyway.

3DS, just barely.

Yup, that thing sucked.

Whoa, that's kind of a great find. Saved it to my laptop immediately. There definitely seems to be something inside the magician's hat.
And the (weird) music of that trailer will come in handy when I put the soundtrack together later.
About that, did it work, sergio? Remember, don't format the USB stick, just ignore the message and use the program on the otherwise unreadable USB drive. :)

BTW: I re-watched this video, and it looks like they hadn't even adapted all of the sprites to the Rayman Legends style yet. Note Globox at 0:36.
Oh, and I really want that online play. It looks awesome :D

Its awesome I found this as well as the pictures I posted earlier were from this as well. I also love the rolling animation on the toad enemy in the woods level as well as the CG dragon in the background.

Really hope that the forest level still exist in the final product (You never know with leaked videos). That level really captured the whole Rayman feeling for me, especially from Rayman 2.

It looks like it was official! Great! Though the concept of Rayman and his friends holding a giant gamepad makes it look like it was a party game :P

Now if only RL actually had a collector's edition. Great job though. The collector's edition should come with the soundtrack CD, a poster, and heck, why not a PVC figure of Murphy.

If there's gonna exist a Collector's Edition, then they need to reveal it shortly.

I might avoid spoilers of RL again since I decided to save for the Wii U.

Probably no collector's edition since it was revealed at an early spot before 'origins was released. Also, you can already preorder 'Legends, so by announcing one now would only end up with many being frustrated.

But of course, a collector's edition would've been really nice for this game. Especially the artbook.

Just to say that I was caught by surprise today and got a last hour Christmas gift from a familiar: a Wii U.

Yep, I played the eShop demo and so far I can congratulate Ubisoft to have fixed some errors from RO and applicated improvements in RL. I know this is only a demo, but I think it is a good signal that the final game will be more enjoyable than RO, I have faith.

Expect soon a RL Demo footage on my YouTube channel. ;)
