That's an excellent thing from PS3: you can change the HDD. Xbox 360? You need to burp 100€ for a 250GB one, and if you need more, burp again one hundred euros. :tssk:

For now the 160GBs are more than fine to me.

You can also just plug in an external one like I did. Only requires that you reformat it from NTFS to FAT32 in order for the PS3 to recognize it.

I didn't know you could use external HDDs aswell.

Hmmm, maybe I can use a USB stick to backup my save files.

Yes, you can. USB Sticks are usually already in FAT32 format as well.

Oh nice Spanex, I never thought of using my external drive like that! :) Should give that a go too, I'm seriously running out of space with my 120 GB drive right now (but it lasted nearly 3 years for me so I guess it's about time? )

I wished I had an external HDD of 1TB to isolate my backups: Blu-Ray burning readers are still expensive (and the discs!). Yes, I do have a lot of junk.

The upside of FAT32 is that since the PS3 can recognize it, you can store your saves into it. You can also hook it up to the PC, put pictures, music and videos into it, connect it to the PS3 afterwards and display your stuff on TV using the PS3. The downside is that it can't store files bigger than 4GB, so be careful.

- Pizza was a bit...too tomato-ish. Too much tomato sauce, not enough other stuff.

True - everything is better than staying 100% off-topic.
