Sergio has a facebook? I totally forget whether I added him or not.
Re: Rayman Legends
@Ad I'm glad you also enjoyed the demo!
I can say when I tried the RL demo for the first time, one of the things that impressed me most was the precision of the gyroscope and the ease of movement. Lets not forget the graphics that improved since RO. I think Ubisoft also bothered more to hide better the Teensies around the levels this time.
It gives me faith that the final product will be more enjoyable than RO for the Rayman community. We just have to wait and see!

Re: Rayman Legends
I actually got 100% on the demo, pretty damn fun, though sometime the cpu being controlled can confuse me a bit.

Re: Rayman Legends
Tried the Rayman Legends demo. Actually, a couple times because I played it alone, with my sister, with my friend and with my mom. The levels are pretty good and the music is to me much better than that from Rayman Origins. The multiplayer is fun and I was both surprised and shocked by the fact that you can change between Rayman and Murfy whenever you want through the level. I loved that, it made the game much more fun. It made the game preserve the fun element in RO, but being more cooperative and fun. Even when I was playing with my friend we found two spots in Toad Story where we could just stop by and have some fun smacking each other, and if one of us died the other one would pop the bubble
I want more! I want the full game!
Now I have just a few questions:
1.- Are those online minigames like football still going to happen?
2.- Is the game still going to be only for Wii U?

Re: Rayman Legends
About the exclusivity, I think it'd been announced already if the game was going to be ported to other consoles. So, I'm pretty sure that it will remain exclusive.
Re: Rayman Legends
Ubisoft said it would be a Wii U exclusive.
Now about the football thing, we don't know. Ubisoft this time isn't revealing a lot of things.

Nice! This will increase the probabilities of Rayman appearing as a third party in the next SSBHaruka wrote:Ubisoft said it would be a Wii U exclusive.

Re: Rayman Legends
And we're in the last day of the year. 3 months to go for RL's release.
And I guess its good to remind people about how to hide spoilers:
Please have this in mind since not everybody will want to read spoilers!

Coming back to those minigames once more: Were they cut from the game?

Re: Rayman Legends
Don't think much about that, Megaman was rejected from Smash because for Sakurai "he didn't fit with the Smash Bros style", which was completely bullshit. Considering Rayman's status as a "new crazy" and the fact that he is not japanese like the rest of the characters... well, I doubt about his appearance in the next smash bros.TeensieKing wrote: Nice! BTW I just went to the Santa Fé Mall (the third biggest mall in latin america). The whole thing was filled with Wii U advertisements and Wii U demo stations on every corner. Really, it was weird... the elevators, the escalators, every single wall, filled with pictures advertising the Wii U and games like Nintendo Land, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge, Zombi U, the newest Just Dance and NSMB U. I saw a lot of families enjoying the console, it was amazing, but yet again...weird...

Re: Rayman Legends
The sprite of the football is still used in Toad Story, you kick it twice and it will turn on fire. You use it to save a Teensy, so I guess that's a training for the... online mode?
I've checked a lot of interviews, and all they can say is that there are online modes but they can't talk too much about them, and that they have "a lot of things to reveal in the next weeks" (cofcofbullshitcofcof). One of the developers even revealed that there will be a ghost mode.
Edit: Check this new screenshot! it's so beautiful!

And Rayman's pose is so innocent! Seriously, I can't catalogue him as a crazy anymore. I'm glad that the hump dance is gone.

Well, I wouldn't say he's completely out of it, he still does look slightly unhinged, but not to such an extent.
Globox, on the other hand...well.

Really? I was expecting a lot more, even from you when you said "It's so beautiful." This is the most boring image I've seen in a while.sergiomonty wrote:Edit: Check this new screenshot! it's so beautiful!

Re: Rayman Legends
Unfortunately the picture isn't also anything from other world, on my point of view. The image with the big tree from Teensies in Trouble impressed me more back then.

Re: Rayman Legends
I really wish they'd do more original artwork than just constantly copy and paste limbs into a scene.

Re: Rayman Legends
Really strange how I barely noticed it until you brought it up, since this is pretty much a copy/paste, I was expecting more of a "official" artwork, I suppose you could say.Adsolution wrote:Copy and paste limbs into a scene.
