thunder yesterday, which is super unusual around here. I don't think I've heard it in a year or two. at first i thought a tree fell or something.

It has been raining for an hour now.

Pretty sunny today, and that's good because I like sunny weather!

It's not that I mind the rain so much, but the problem is that everything gets dirty when it's raining. You have to wipe your shoes for like an hour or even take them off before going inside, and sometimes that's not even enough. I remember back when I was a kid and we had this dog called Brock. A nice dog it was. But like all dogs, it loved to roll in the mud, and when it was wet outside my father wouldn't let him in the house. I felt really sorry for Brock, and one day I had enough of his sad look and his whining so I went to the bathroom, grabbed a towel to dry him and opened the door. However, the bastard ran past me and went straight to our brand new sofa. I tried to get the mud stains off it, but my dad came home too early and asked who let the dog in. When he found out it was me, he took me to the garage and beat the hell out of me with a set of jumper cables.

December was pretty bad, I'm not sure if we even had one sunny day that month. It was all grey skies and too warm for winter, just hovering around 0oC.
January has been nice so far, a pretty comfortable snowy -10oC without much wind and some actual sunlight every now and then.
