New video, old levels. These guys got permission to play the WHOLE demo with the 3 levels and film it in one single video. In the jungle level, we can see that ubiart improved the animation when rayman swings with the cyan lum-like creature (he looked rigid before) and now his legs move in a waving style. There's some gameplay from the desert level in multiplayer, and it totally looks hard. They keep calling the bugs "bats". And finally, the level with the carnivorous plant, nothing new here.
I didn't take time to appreciate the animations of the teensies, they look great. Everybody chooses rayman, globox and the great minimus, but apparently nobody likes the black teensy wizard (It looks like the blue one will be unlockable), I like him, but I think his customes aren't that cool, unlike the blue wizard.
Annoying as hell!
''This is really good for a downloadable game'' '''Here we got witch enemies'' ''These are bats''
And the comments are even worse! How stupid can some people be!? ''Why not PC?'' ''When will it come for 3DSWare?'' ''I had this game for N64'' ''Is this a remake?''
Damn, I just hate the dumb and stupid comments on YouTube. I know not everybody is a hardcore fan, but some are just plain retarded. I cannot keep myself from correcting everybody.

^ LOL, I know, I just ignored their comments, the dude who played as rayman obviously didn't know a f*ck about what was he doing xD I think in one part he says that he isn't into platformers or something like that. The guy who played as the teensy didn't talk too much, but I think that they completed the level thanks to him xD
It's so funny when he dies and says "Frank!! halp (help), frank!!! halp, halp, frank!"
P.D: yay, now my avatar has a monk

Yeah, it's pretty sad. And his news is so outdated.
Sigh, better get off now, another day of school tomorrow.

Its what happens when people like Toby Tuner, Chuggawhateverthehell, The Yogcast, TotalBiscuit and other famous game commentators play video games that the more mainstream population of gamers don't really know about. Thier all like HURPDURP THIS ISINT MINECRAFTZ, THIS GAME SUCKZ! The most annoying thing is when you go to wacth gameplay or VGM and see crap like CHUGGA SENT ME HERE LOLZ
Youtube is a pretty stupid place Raytunes don't get too angry about it.

On a side note has anyones local game store (or site) put the rayman origins collector's edition up for preorder?
An italian and a dutch website have putted the correspondent editions for pre-order.
I prefer to wait until begginings of November before deciding if I'm gonna pre-order the game online over a United Kingdom online store or not; I must contact the national distributor to inform myself better too.
If I menage to buy the Xbox 360, it will be in a store close to me.
Thanks Haruka! I'm probably going to preorder it when it becomes avalible at my local gamestop (I'm also hoping there will be some type of gamestop preorder bonus along with the collectors.
And good luck getting that Xbox!

I believe the term is Pink Daisy, god, I can't stand to read anymore of these stupid reviews that tell us everything we already know, and they don't even know proper terms for the games and names and all that...
I tell you the modern world of gaming is infected with CoD, Halo, Battlefield etc...
No-one I've asked at school about Rayman even knows what he is! Jeez and these people call themselves 'gamers'!?!

That's actually quite interesting. If there'll be sections like this, then it would explain why there is no PC version.
I remember trying to get the red fairy creature in R3 by pressing softly on the forward key . How DO you get that creature on PC, anyway?!
You hold down "slowdown" button, as you could in R2.

For me it's the reverse, I was totally not interested in Wii before seeing some late games and Wii U looks fun, though I'm afraid Nintendo will fail with third parties again.

"I had this on N64"
Haruka, hypothetically, which version of the game would you prefer: In english or in spanish?
Also, guys, don't get so angry on those people. People have different tastes in gaming. My brother, for example, can't understand how I can play platformers. He plays shooting games. When he was younger, he loved platformers. I guess with some people, it's just a matter of age. My cousins also played platformers as kids but now they only play shooting and racing games. I myself have some great shooting and racing games that I love. My transformation has begun...

At last Rayman is back, no more Rabbids! Although Ubisoft have made another Rabbid game for the DS but it is good to know that the classic 2D Rayman is back! I can't wait to get it and i think (if i have enough money ) i will be getting the collectors edition!

"Witch enemies", "I had this in N64", "I love how downloadable games have been becoming". I guess I shouldn't comment this.
I noticed he only figured out later there was a running button. I always had a personal habit everytime I played a new platformer game: testing buttons before starting to do anything else. Am I the only one? (And reading manuals too)

English version. Is there a specific reason to do me that question?

I love to read manuals, manuals are like books but more interesting :>
And that guy playing... sigh, at least 'Frank' is a good player.
I think I shouldn't compain. If I was about to play a Sonic game, I would probably say only silly things about the stuff that appeared in my front.

Well, I just wanted to know how much portuguese is like spanish. I know they sound completely different, but my dad (he speaks portuguese) told me that they are virtually the same when on paper.

Hmm. The first game that was technically mine was Sonic Adventure DX, so... yeah.

Actually, spanisha nd portuguese are quite similar. It's easy for me to understand portuguese (I'm spanish) and my parents went to Madeira (Portugal) in their 25th anniversary and they had no problems
I like this video, although the guy should've known by now that it isn't a downloadable title.

Oooh, your parents went to one of the archipelagos.
I never went neither to Azores or Madeira, but I live in continental Portugal.
iambored, TeensieKing is correct. Portuguese and Spanish have a lot of similarities but they are yet quite different.
iambored2006 wrote:I know they sound completely different, but my dad (he speaks portuguese) told me that they are virtually the same when on paper.
The writing is similar indeed, but it is still diferent. The phonetics and dictation pass by the same thing but they are perfectly distinct.
I can show you an example with a music that mixes Portuguese and Spanish:
