Neither do I but whether i'm walking or on teh rails the game would run much slower than it would do when I was one clear terreign.

Damn. Maybe it was just too many trees for your system to render into view without lagging heaps?

Could be that, I should also note that it's really terrible when i'm on a minecart as well, there's a rail between Snobville and le forest on the server which is hell.

1.9 won't release until the final release in November. There will be no more official releases until then.

And yet it runs 1.7 with an additional gigabite, while it shouldn't even be able to run anything higher then Alpha.

Well I guess there's that, my laptop runs 1.8 better than my main computer.

Either way i've got minecraft up anyone want to play on the server with me?

I'm currently building a modern house. It's coming out quite nice. However my lack of experience with redstone is annoying me.

I should play around with Redstone more, a secret passage way would be epic for my mansion.

EDIT: Instead of doing that I made a pub instead :
