Haruka wrote:It is difficult nowadays to find the holographic boxes either for both European PC and PS2 versions, because only the very first 2003 editions had one. It is more common to find non-holographical or platinum editions than that.

If you are interested, I saw a UK seller also selling the PC game, with holographic box for around 10£.

On other note, the PC holographic version is even harder to find than the PS2 one. I got my PS2 copy few years ago for around 7€ in a gaming shop that eventually closed, and it is in overall very good state. My PC version, also European and holographic, I got it on eBay for 5€, also in the same conditions.
:'o Seriously? I'm quite interested- would you mind sending a link over if it's still available? That'd be really appreciated. ;w;
I didn't even hear about- let alone see the holographic versions until you told me about them. Damn my love for pretty boxes. :fou:

Here you go:

I honestly think that the holographic cover makes the artwork preetier. :mryellow:

Thank you very much, Haruka! :D Didn't notice this one.
Just wish it were easier to see the holographic cover through photos. *squint squint* When they say the cover is 3D, they better mean it's holographic...

Ah yes, I have a holographic Rayman 3 cover for PS2 as well, a rather odd find, all things considered.

The seller specifies 3D cover, which he mostly means the holographic one. You can only notice the effect when you are picking the box for real.

I think it is a good purchase for UK buyers, knowing their rarity.

I agree. Does anybody know any other place where I could find these figures? (Not for over 100€... :P)

Only in French eBay and in PriceMinister.com, also a french website.

These sometimes pop up.

Honestly, if I was seeing the cage again, I would buy it since I believe mine is faulty.

eBay France is probably one of the best places to look- some sellers there will ship worldwide. :) Here's a really good quality one that was put on eBay FR recently: http://www.ebay.fr/itm/rayman-ray-man-f ... 581wt_1397

Did you send them a message? I always do that if it's not listed for international sale. Usually I get lucky.

I have never seen this before. Does anybody know what is it, some sort of collection edition from Rayman 2?

That is the Collector's Edition of R2TGE, avaialble only in France. There's no big difference on it, except for the exclusive box and the Prima Strategy Guide included on it.

Good to see the seller decided to sell it half cheaper now.

The more you know.
But blimey, Rayman 2 had a Collectors Edition, even if its contents aren't really collector's stuff, the fact that it exists is intriguing.

That thing has been on eBay for ages now. Glad to see the price went down, but I'm still not paying for it at that price...Box is ravaged.
