When you say crossover, do you mean a literal crossover, or a crossover in terms of gameplay concepts? I don't really think Rayman would do well in the sandbox genre in honesty, Metroidvania seems more fitting if you want a game with exploration.

That was, of course, a joke.
I'd really like to see another 3D game, like Rayman 3 or 2, but with the style of Origins and Legends.

A 3D game with the Origins/Legends style… I can't see how that would work. It sounds vaguely like something I'd enjoy, but I really don't know how it would be pulled off.

Hmm, I'm with Plum on that, I guess a 3D Origins/Legends would probably end up similar to the classic Crash titles, except with less box bashing. I feel that if a new 3D title came out, it should evolve and fuse concepts from all the sagas, rather than just the UbiArt saga exclusively.

Though as I've blabbed about before, I'd love to see a Metroid inspired Rayman game, I think the progressive gain of powers and linked backtracking and locating of other item boosts (for instance, Cages give health in the 3D titles, but in Rayman 1, you couldn't get them all first time, and some required clever platforming. Seems like a good analogue for the E-Tanks, eh?).

I think a Legends-styled 3D game would end up using cell shading and looking a lot like the Borderland games.

Though less gritty and more smooth I'd think.

Artistically a 3D Origins/Legends-like game would be wonderful. Gameplay-wise, I'm not sure.

I don't think the gameplay would be too hard to get, maybe they can pull a Mario 64 and make a great 3D game based off a great 2D game?

Something that looks like the CGI trailer for Rayman Legends would be great!

Though, the gameplay should play like the 3D titles but be challenging (looking at you Rayman 2).

I'd really like to see that. Maybe they could add segments like a beat-em-up. Having that satisfaction of punching hordes of enemies at once is something I'd love to experience with a Rayman game. *cough*Rayman 4 prototype*cough* With Hyrule Warriors' thus far success, I can easily see that happening.

My dream Rayman game would have the cast and settings of Rayman 1 return, and be in 3D. I think that'd be super cool but it isn't likely to happen.

Gimme a new 3D one. I'll test it, and I'll see if I'm happy with it. Aside from that, I don't have any particular expectation: I was already surprised by Origins and Legends as Ubisoft innovated a lot with the way they created the entirety of the games. Though Rabbids were kinda 'meh', I guess it was mainly because their relation with Rayman can't be that great: Rabbids try to be serious but they are only silly and dumb, which is fine. But for me this is the fact that they were linked to Rayman in some way which made the series not as enjoyable as it should be. I guess it's also why Ubisoft made Rayman disappear from the series as it progressed: it was more about the rabbids than Rayman himself.

Since it IS 2015, I'm expecting something big from Ubi this year. I mean... the Rayman 4 prototype was being created in 2005 right? Origins was REVEALED in 2010, the 15th year of Rayman. So I'm thinking they're gonna reveal something new Rayman related this year at E3 or maybe even sooner.

My thoughts at the moment are.

- Rayman 1 re-done in O/L style.
- Rayman 1 HD remake
- Rayman 1 in 3D????
- A new 3D Rayman game!!!
- Rayman 4 being picked up from 10 years ago?

I know I'm being REALLY wishful about a new 3D Rayman game but ya'll already are aware of that by now.

What if the new Rayman game is just Rayman taking back the world from the Rabbids. Like a normal 3D Rayman game except he is going around stopping them all from doing whatever they do.
