@Master
They said they might will but seeing how years went on, I think it's too late for Investigations 2. But I heared fan translation is in making. Funny how Capcom was putting before English as option in Japanese versions but stopped at Apollo Justice.

Ehh, I think one of the tragedies is that Ace Attorney doesn't sell as well on this side of the globe, at least, that is Capcom's justification.

Just tried the Dual Destinies demo.
I actually only played through the rest of the series over the summer, so this release is perfect for me. The Ace Attorney games are near perfection.

And totally unrelated, but:

YOU SAY YOU WANT A DARKER POKÉMON ANIME???
WELL HERE YA GO, YA HEARTLESS BASTARDS

I dislike one thing when a Japanese series is brought to West. From the moment they release first game in West, all future content should be equal for all countries.Only 3 Fullmetal Alchemist games are in West but most of others (including GBA RPG's) are not. Nintendo seems to be treating their franchises mostly equal. Why can't other Japanese companies do same?

It's only going to be 4 episodes long, but it hasn't started in America yet

Edit: Played the Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies demo, my first experience with a game in the Ace Attorney series and I really enjoyed the clever use of it, though the demo was really easy, I really like the use of the mood matrix and such, it's all very innovative, I'd buy if it weren't so expensive at the moment.

Mood matrix is a new thing that was not in previous games and I liked it. Phoenix Wright games always start easy but later it is harder.

Hm, I do like how they add these little things to spruce up trials and investigations, the Magatama and Apollo's bracelet brought in some cool effects.

Oh my, Squirtal might not have been harmed, but Charmander.
Whoa, did Pokemon just take a level in dark?

I kind of just grimaced for a moment, I never thought I'd live to see the day when official Pokemon stuff was like that when representing battles.

This is basically what the Pokémon anime was originally supposed to be like, but it was changed to be more kid friendly. Red was also going to age in the original idea of the anime, but when they changed the protagonist to Ash, they made him never age so they could milk the show as much as they liked, meaning the Pokémon anime will only end when it's not profitable anymore (and that is literally how the people in charge of the anime have put it).

However, if you would like a darker take on Pokémon, the manga basically carried over the original idea of the anime anyway.

As for my reaction to that clip, I literally just said "Oho...OH JESUS!".
Poor Charmander. It pained me to see him like that, he's my favourite Pokémon. I literally adore him, I even had a specially made Charmander cake for my sixth birthday.

That doesn't mean I dislike the clip though, if the rest of the anime has that much impact, then it's gonna be excellent.

Indeed, footage like this would've won Team Plasma their goal eons ago.
I can't believe I misspelt Squitle, methinks I need a bit of a knock in the noggin.

More proof that Pokémon: The Origin will be the best thing to come out of the Pokémon franchise:

Yeah, the Origin series does take a bit of a darker approach at things here and there, which I like. It makes the bad aspects of Pokemon world stand out a bit more rather then the overly happy place the main anime tends to make it.

To me, it's not really that it's dark. What makes it good is that it's darker, but it's only like that to make it more heartfelt. Much more so than the regular anime could hope to achieve, because everything is too sugar-coated there.

It's why I love the Japanese Sonic X - it's dark, but it isn't dark just for the sake of it.
