Believe me the HQ filter will not look any sharper than supersai. SuperSai is just more blury so the pixels get more sharpened.technology4617 wrote:Wait for v1.22 with the HQ filters.Cometcourse64 wrote:HOLY CRAP ITS FREAKING AWESOME I JUST INSTALLED IT AND DAAAAAAAMMMN
Lol, I know Rulez hasn't been around lately, but this forum is definitely anything but clean!Cometcourse64 wrote:what appears to be a clean forum
The advmame filter looks really nice.emshomar wrote:Okey, here is the WiP-Configurator: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zmsucfqp3yonx ... tion-A.exe
I put it just here so you guys maybe can test it. But I doubt that they are some issues. It would be nice of you if you can share your opinion about the presets. Like the older one you can place it wherever you want.
But only in combination with OpenGL.technology4617 wrote:The advmame filter looks really nice.emshomar wrote:Okey, here is the WiP-Configurator: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zmsucfqp3yonx ... tion-A.exe

It appears to work with ddraw as well, though.emshomar wrote:But only in combination with OpenGL.
I know but i think OpenGL will make it look even more sharper.technology4617 wrote:It appears to work with ddraw as well, though.emshomar wrote:But only in combination with OpenGL.
Unfortunately, when I use that type of OpenGL, the image appears at the ACTUAL SIZE.emshomar wrote:I know but i think OpenGL will make it look even more sharper.
While experimenting with it, I discovered a few little bugs that I just faced with and updated the link.technology4617 wrote:The new config tool works fine, by the way.
Hm. I didn't notice a difference when I tried the two, but, then again, I didn't have a side-by-side comparison.emshomar wrote:I think OpenGL does the job better than DDraw just by looking at Rayman.
Like what?emshomar wrote:While experimenting with it, I discovered a few little bugs that I just faced with and updated the link.
I just started it with output DDraw with my Intel HD4000 and there is also a difference if I use the GTX660M instead and I can say it look better on my Intel HD4000 though. Oh and DDraw and OpenGL looks the same on my Intel HD4000, however my GTX660M gives another image that I am not confortable with.technology4617 wrote:Hm. advinterp3x was entered incorrectly and it had a problem in detecting the window resolution 960x600.technology4617 wrote:Like what?emshomar wrote:While experimenting with it, I discovered a few little bugs that I just faced with and updated the link.
Though the GTX660M has worse filters than the Intel integrated graphics with the default settings, the card is still much better than the integrated graphics.emshomar wrote:I just started it with output DDraw with my Intel HD4000 and there is also a difference if I use the GTX660M instead and I can say it look better on my Intel HD4000 though. Also, those scalers that appear on their original size also have the slowdown issue.emshomar wrote:I have tweaked the configurator a little bit. The slowmotion fix stays locked until an outout had been chosen that occurs the slowmotion which is surface and ddraw in Windows8. Some scalers like super2xsai or hq2x/hq3x aren't compatible with opengl so I still have to tweak it in that way too later. Here is the updated one:

Strange I didn't get the messagetechnology4617 wrote:I tried to ask you this on Skype, but does the slow-motion fix setting just get locked, or does it get locked at the "off" setting?
If that's true, then couldn't it get locked at the "on" setting?emshomar wrote:Strange I didn't get the messageOnly the button gets locked. You can still force it to by entering it yourself in the *.conf file.
If it was checked before and gets locked by application the check will get automatically off.technology4617 wrote:If that's true, then couldn't it get locked at the "on" setting?emshomar wrote:Strange I didn't get the messageOnly the button gets locked.
