Ugh... Nintendo really got lazy to just splatter the normal Mario All-Stars game for the snes (which I actually do own boxed, I showed it to Adsolution on skype

) onto the wii, with few more features, but oh well.
Heck, they completely ignored Metroid's 25th, but at least they dealt Kirby a much more celebratory 20th, so I can forgive them...a little, I guess.

A friend received that Email from Micromania. If we reserve the game in this store, we get a collector steelbook of Rayman Legends.

Don't double post, Squiz. I don't understand why this is such a hard concept to grasp.

With Donkey Kong Country I did use the nunchuck, though... didn't work with that game.
Now that's funny, I play Donkey Kong Country Returns with the Wiimote and Nunchuk and I have no complains about the controls.

I agree that I was hopping for more in that re-release for the 25th Anniversary. I'm also talking about the book and the music cd it came with it. At least it was much cheaper than all the other Wii retail games, 28€.
Holy Polokus.

I hope they do the same thing in here!
And yep, it isn't difficult to use the Edit button. Please try to avoid double-posting next time. *Fixes*

This better also be in America...
Here in America we didn't get the collectors edition of Rayman Origins for pre-ordering, just an extra Beyond Good & Evil copy which I gave to a friend of mine for free, since I already own it.

That's great. BTW I just analyzed the cover a bit. Take a look at the back and you'll see this giant... toad or something. Could possibly be a boss. Or something.

They need to release that world. I want!

I wrote it incorrectly - I meant that without the Nunchuck, the game feels uncontrollable and even a little bit stiff.

To be honest I don't see the point of playing in horizontal Wii Remote when you actually own a Nunchuk. But that's just me. Personally the RO controls in Wii Remote + Nunchuk mode felt a little confusing for me.

Ironically, you can't play New Super Mario Bros U with a nunchuck this time. Fans are like "ahm, okay, nobody used nunchuks anyway, the point is to hold the Wii Remote horizontally after all", well, fuck no, I loved using my nunchuk, at least I could move more precisely with an analog stick than a D-Pad.
By the way, Ancel recently said (about the Wii U):
“The hardware is powerful and we haven’t had any limitations. Visually, because we’ve had more time with the UbiArt engine, we were able to add a lot of depth to the graphics. You can especially see it in the backgrounds. There are more layers, more details; it feels more like a landscape. We’ve also done a lot with the lighting effects, both in gameplay and graphics.” - Michel Ancel
Seriously Ancel? No limitations? this is really gonna blow our minds? Then bring it on.
Actually, I was impressed with Castle Rock, not only the song, but also the fact that a lot of characters came in and out of the stage so quickly and with no framerate issues. You couldn't see that kind of details in Origins.

That has no affect on performance whatsoever.

Maybe he's pointing out that it has no limitations for their needs. Of course it has limitations, just not any that they have to concern themselves with.
It does sound a little like a 'what could possibly go wrong', I'll give you that.

Saw this on a video, it's a new area with what appears to be Spartan glutes with smiley-face shields.

Its probably in the world inspired in the Classic era.
I start to wonder if Drolpiraat's drawing inspired them to create this world.

Holy crap the face on the shield is like foutch with a smile instead of a snare.
... ok maybe it's really not. Just go with the impression on first glance here, ok?

Well, point one: what if you own one nunchuk and there are multiple players? Point two: What if all the guys in the room are old-school PC gamers? Yes, you heard that well: PC gamers. From what I see, we on the weirder side of Force hate analog sticks. With passion. Point three: It saves battery. Point four: I don't see the point of attaching Nunchuk if all the inputs are already there, and if it happens there's a game in which it doesn't work like this, I'm confused.

Don't forget I am a PC player by default. I wasn't talking about multiplayer, but yes when you are alone and happen to own a Nunchuk with you.
But those are good points.

Sure. And on point of you being a PC gamer, most of my friends are the "Nothing against consoles, but I don't want to have any" crowd. This means they have usually no point to get used to analog sticks. After playing Mario Galaxy for 10 hours, I got used to Nintendo's octagonal stick quite well, but they don't do that at all.
