Re: Rayman 3
Maybe this fixes your issues:
http://www.gog.com/forum/rayman_series/ ... 3_fps_drop
They offer few solutions.
GOG version is same so it doesn't matter if it's retail one or not.

I can't use ATI Tray Tools because I have Nvidia. The program just says it cant initiate ATIPDLR or something and it just closes. Turning off Vsync won't work because it's already off.OldClassicGamer wrote:Maybe this fixes your issues:

Re: Rayman 3
32-bit images and a 32-bit operating system share absolutely no relation. All bit-depth is is the quantity of 'steps' at which something can be calculated, and in the context of images, this refers to the amount of steps (shades) from black to white, from grey to colour, and from red to violet. When talking about sound, bit-depth refers to the amount of steps (volumes) between -∞ decibels and 0 decibels (no sound to as loud as can be processed). When talking about an operating system, bit-depth refers to the amount of characters allowed in a datapath/memory address as well as maximum integer size. It's similar to the term 'resolution', except 'resolution' implies the fineness/frequency of the calculation, whereas 'bit-depth' refers to the overall quantity of the calculation. To put it in relatable terms of science, Bit-depth = Mass, Resolution = Density.OldClassicGamer wrote:No, 64bit PCs are good but maybe thats why there is some issue when playing with 32bit textures, I dunno for sure since I am not pro when it comes to this stuff. Just don't use uncompressed 32bit textures and x32 resolution and it should work better.
Re: Rayman 3
On a similar topic, which is better quality, 32-bit or 32-bit compressed?

Re: Rayman 3
Hm, we already can do that by modifying the resolution variable in Ubi.ini, unless this method fixes both the cutscenes and HUD.
Re: Rayman 3
Yeah, that's what I meant. It fixes the cutscenes and HUD. It's definitely possible and should be happening soon!Master wrote:Hm, we already can do that by modifying the resolution variable in Ubi.ini, unless this method fixes both the cutscenes and HUD.
Re: Rayman 3
Please tell me it is because I would like it to exist one day when I Let's Play it.RibShark wrote:Guys, I feel a Rayman 3 PC widescreen fix is almost happening!

Re: Rayman 3
Ooh, in that case, attention grabbed, do us proud, Ribshark!
Re: Rayman 3
Yeah! This is progressing nicely! Few bugs to iron out then it should be almost done!

Re: Rayman 3
I'll be sure to test it out also, pity the same couldn't be done with Rayman 2, as RoboticTeensie tested out.
Re: Rayman 3
Isn't Rayman 2 1920x1080 already?
EDIT: Oh well, but it's not Widescreen.
Speaking of RoboticTeensie, anyone knows how is he doing, I sent him message and it is still in outbox.

Re: Rayman 3
Indeed, didn't Humch ask if anyone wanted to carry on RaySaves in his absence?
Re: Rayman 3
He did, but it seems nobody accepted sadly.

Re: Rayman 3
Hm, I think we ought to muse it over sometime, Humch was more than willing to transfer the site to RPC, I think we just needed to finish off the save archives, shall we take a gander to the topic and see if we can do anything?
Re: Rayman 3
The only savefile I have right now is Rayman 1 Japanese Sega Saturn. I don't think I could help
Re: Rayman 3
Here is what the patch will look like once it is released. On later releases the resolution and aspect ratio will be detected automatically.
