If it's only for Cache then yes, but I was recommending it in general since it will help him I am sure. Many people had slow computers before and after I recommended them CCleaner, speed improved.

Hmm, indeed, though in those cases CCleaner is only the half of it, a good manual clean up would do well too, much like I just did.

Great thanks for the help, clearing the cache has proved to be successful, though my laptop runs at a reasonable pace so I don't think I'd use CCleaner, and I can only hold up to 55GB or something

I appreciate the recommendation though

Hmm, like I said earlier, it might be best to also do a manual cleanup, look through the folders such as Documents, Videos, Music, Pictures and Downloads, you may find stuff that you don't need any more and can delete.

Ah, my mistake, carry on!
Though 55GB seems a little meagre, how old is your computer? If you don't mind my asking.

Intel(R)

Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80 GHz

1.12 GB of ram

Indeed, it has useful features aplenty, plus it's a brilliant upgrade compared to the crappy Vista my laptop had when I first got it.

I used XP and it was pain to do Let's Plays on it since DXtory for XP did not suppord multi stream sound. Windows 7 for the win. it is currently the best one avalible.

But there are games you can play on the xp that either won't work or don't play as well on Windows 7 and higher, unless I'm mistaken
